Overall good

Good hotel for a business trip, very close to a metro station. The gym as often in hotels is a small room with few equipments, so don't expect too much. The restaurant is overall good with big portions, although I had to wait a long time to be served on the first evening (but they told me in advance I would have had to wait). The hotel is currently next to a construction site. You will not notice it once you are in the hotel, but just something to note.

Frontdesk staff with an attitude & internet issues

This was a business trip where I was required to have a stable internet connection to be able to work from my room, but unfortunately I was forced to work from elsewhere for 3 days in a row (McDonalds and my family’s house) due to the extremely weak connection. I reported the issue twice, but the front desk staff was absolutely not interested to provide any assistance or whatsoever looking into this matter. They were blaiming it on the external internet provider and continued to look at their personal cellphone. I was surprised by the attitude!! The second time was even worse as they (3 clerks) were more busy making jokes and laugh rather than assisting one of their guests. I have stayed in other Bastion hotels which in general is a fine chain, but this facility has highly unprofessional staff members. The lack of service tells a lot about the management, in fact after submitting a complaint through Expedia, the management denied any compensation nor sending me an apology. The property itself is simple but good… cleaning could be better though, as the room smelled a bit moldy and had a dusty/sandy floor. Would definitely not stay here again.

First I got the feeling since I booked from Expedia that they don't really care about giving a good service knowing that I booked my room earlier, but they give me a room in the first floor without a good view. The beds where 2 single beds instead of double bed Eventhough I told them I was with my wife and she will has her Birthday !!. I asked for extra pillows and after waiting for nearly one hour to get them, I tried to call them on the phone but it wasn't working and then ended up going to the reception to be told that there are no extra pillows available!!! They didn't bother themselves to come to my room and say that! The next day I asked to change my room to a kingsize bed room and they did that after longtime processing, at the end we got a room in the basement!!. alone without any other rooms. The next morning they knock the door at 7 am just to ask how did I get in this room because they didn't change the room in the system. That was so annoying !!

Dirty and full of flys

The Hotel was really unhygienic, for days the bins were over flowing without being emptied, breakfast was completely covered in flys as you walked past the all started hovering over the food and landing on the food

Dark, unwelcoming, towels are disgrace.

Socket hanging out the wall, towels were stained and frayed, walls were dirty and path had literally caved into a massive hole and not made safe at all. Overall worn, and uncaring state of affairs. Hôtel is dark and dingy, not at all welcoming. When requested extra pillows, we were given pillows and coverings separately - no time taken to do such simple task for customer.

One of the worst stays I have ever come across in my life, this hotel must be rated 1 star. Rooms are dirty-smelling bed sheets. The mattress is not comfortable. Hotel service is terrible requested 2 times for room make up no one bother to clean the room when asked by the receptionist she rudely said I don't know and can't help you. The breakfast quality is worst. Never take the breakfast option waste of money. I would give a zero rating terrible place to live. It's more like Hostel not Hotel.

Väldigt stort och fräscht rum med grym A/C. Hotellet har kanske rykte om sig att vara arbetarhotell (och det är det väl) men det passar lika bra för par och familjer. Bra parkering, vänlig personal och nära till Burger King och KFC om man är sugen. Har man bil och vill undvika att leta parkering är det ett bra alternativ!
