"Das Zimmer war renoviert und sauber, bis auf den Mülleimer. Bett, Möbel, Vorhänge und das Bad waren neu und sauber. Der Kontakt mit dem Personal war nur kurz und freundlich. Wenn man von der Straße der Ausschilderung folgt und am falschen Ende der Hotelanlage ankommt, dann möchte man am liebsten wieder umkehren, da ist leider nicht einladend aussieht. Es fehlt eine eindeutig gute Ausschilderung. Ich hatte kein Frühstück, bewerte dies also auch nicht. "

"Wir waren nur für eine Nacht, wurden aber genauso Herzlich empfangen. Unser 3-Bett-Zimmer im 2.Stock war richtig schön und gemütlich. Die Matratzen waren richtig hochwertig und die Bettwäsche, omg ich liebe Bettwäsche! Alles war sauber und ordentlich, gibt nix zu meckern. Das Frühstücksbuffet für 15,- pro Person war qualitativ richtig gut. Die besonderen Tassen und Teller haben das Frühstück heimelig gemacht. Der Kaffee haut richtig rein am Morgen :D War alles supi <3"

Die Freizeitangebote (Tischtennis, Pool, etc. ) sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber Großteils okay. Leider lässt der Umgang des Personals mit den Gästen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wegen eines Fehlers wurde uns der Hund doppelt berechnet. Um dies zu korrigieren mussten wir 6! mal die Rezeption aufsuchen. "I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."
