It was nice on a budget with a kitchen. Near to the city centre. Lake front lake was just at the back side. Bit outdated building. Had spa. My kid loved the spa. I did not like towels- the color was little like light muddy color. Overall a nice motel.

We had a really lovely stay here over the weekend. The staff were fantastic - friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful - and the hotel itself was lovely. I’d noticed some of the less-than-great reviews before staying, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Yes, the hotel is a little dated in places, but honestly, if you’re travelling around New Zealand, that’s hardly unusual - especially in Rotorua! For us, it was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and the staff really made the stay. We were very happy with our experience and would happily stay again. 😊

This motel is in a fantastic location, perfect to walk to the lake front & town for restaurants etc. The amenities & rooms are pretty tired & could use a spruce up for sure but we found the room to be clean & tidy. Rooms are very warm in winter, didn’t even need to use the heat pump.

Stayed 4 nights!! Cozy room well equipped friendly staff and close to places! Only downside is poor ventilation in the room, without the AC all the smell and smoke from cooking stays in the room no air suction im the kitchen unless you open the sliding door which doesn’t give you much privacy if your room is facing the main road. However it is such a nice motel will definitely stay there again!
