  • The Wildlife Safari is such an awesome place! It has been around for 38 years and was one of my favorite places I ever visited as a child. My children feel the same after visiting in the summer of 2014. This 600 acre park is home to over 500 animals and features a drive through park as well as a walk through viewing area, cafe and gift shop. One of our favorite parts is in a particular area of the drive-thru park, you can buy food and feed the animals which are emus and different types of deer from your car. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. We paid for a room with 2 Queens and were given a room with 1 Queen. I felt that we should have been refunded the amount. Other than this the place was quiet and adequate.

It was basic, affordable, and just what I needed for my first night on the road on the way to somewhere else. My room was perfectly located, next to the ice and one away from steps so I didn’t have to use them (a great blessing). Parked directly in front of room. Plenty of food choices in the area. Close to gas and Interstate-5 so it was easy to get on my way toward destination. I would definitely stay here again when making the same trip to visit family.

Loved it!

A very nice basic room with everything you need and expect . The room was larger than most rooms Ive stayed in. Check in took 2 minutes! Quiet! And a great diner kitty-corner across the street

This is a perfect example of a small older hotel that’s well-maintained and properly cared for by the owners. I’ve stayed here over the years many times before Covid, and after Covid and the conditions of the rooms are always good and reasonably priced. I will stay here again.

Nice local motel value

Very friendly. Let me check in a little early. Older property with sluggish plumbing but clean and well maintained. Felt safe. Pretty quiet besides a little road noise to be expected. Tried to book again for week later but it was full. Great place to catch up on sleep.

The staff is very very helpful. Not only did they go out of their way to fix stuff in the room for us, but my daughter left her favorite baby blanket there and they were more than happy to mail it to us. Thank you so much!

Nice small town hotel. We got to town late so we called hotel and they had someone waiting to check us in after hours and make sure are room was ok. A/C worked good and bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The room had everything we needed (microwave, fridge…). Comfortable beds, table… The motel is a bit old but clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. The wifi was slow or didn’t work properly.

Considering the price and the location, the Safari Motel worked well for us. But the towels! The surface resembled a nail file. So rough. I understand that costs today probably make it difficult to give guests soft towels, but maybe they could be a little softer?

It was clean just outdated. Bed was very comfy. Room was very large and empty. The set up of the room needs more thought put into it. Had to move coffee maker to floor to be able to use a plug for it to work. I would stay again.
