Rosarito is an exciting resort community on Baja California’s gorgeous Gold Coast. The coastal city is an idyllic destination for enjoying a rejuvenating getaway at a luxury resort and indulging your senses at wellness spas. Take in magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and the wide Baja California sky as you take long strolls along the beach or sit back at a waterfront restaurant. Hit Rosarito’s sapphire beaches with your surfboard or snorkel and practice your swing at one of the city’s fantastic golf courses.

The city’s chief lure is undeniably its beautiful stretch of coastline. Check out Rosarito Beach, which is a broad and sandy sweep of beach directly fronting the city center. The small beach has a family atmosphere and a long strip of vendors selling snacks and drinks. Four-wheeled motorbike rental and horse-riding or paragliding tours are available. Another beautiful beach fronts the neighborhood of La Paloma.

Many hotels and resorts in Rosarito can help you organize sightseeing adventures and equipment rental. Try stand-up paddleboarding, rent a Jet Ski or jump onboard a boat tour. Snorkeling and scuba-diving tours give you a closer look at Baja California’s amazing ocean life. Grab your surfboard and check the swell from Punta Descanso to Punta Mezquite. Rosarito’s wonderful golf courses are ideal for taking in the scenery while fine-tuning your technique.

Save time to stroll around the city and check out stores selling souvenirs. Pick up gifts such as sterling silverware, woven blankets, leather goods and onyx crafts at the craft market. If you’re a film fan, be sure to visit Baja Film Studios and find out about the Hollywood movies that were filmed here.

Wander along Benito Juarez Boulevard and pick from the many restaurants serving authentic cuisine and local wines. Rosarito’s waterfront bars are perfectly placed for watching sunsets (and sunrises, too).

Rosarito is a half-hour drive south from Tijuana San Diego is a little over an hours’ drive away. A wide variety of resorts and hotels are available. Rosarito is an exciting family-friendly destination on Baja’s northern coast.

Everything was alright except for the music. There are bars nearby and play music until 3am. You can hear it clearly through the walls. Don’t expect to sleep well.

This was our 4th time at Rosarito and it was the best one. It was quiet and low key. We were able to enjoy a nice walk by the beach and have some drinks without having too many people around. Also, food at Puerto Nuevo was amazing.

my card was over charged at multiple places, the hotel and a shop right next to it. It is really unfortunate because I actually enjoyed my stay. The beach was pretty, but the streets were rough .
