Great spa & Gym

Upon checkin we got upgraded for a few dollars, not sure if it was worth the upgrade we got like some more space, but overall the room was very dated. The hotel is located in the city center, and parking was very confusing at first since you need to park on the other side of the street next to a grocery store, which we had no knowledge of prior, so we were just driving around to find a place to park until we randomly found the hotel parking spot. The hotel has a great SPA and a good gym, but you need to pay extra for a spa pass, but its well worth it. It has great location, the breakfast started to late so was unable to experienced it. The hotel feels old, but its when you go to the spa side it feels modern. Friendly staff, and we had no issues.

The people at check in: very nice & spoke English. Restaurant staff were great!!! Especially “ Bartek”. Hotel is close to all things in Roros: shops, restaurants and the Roros church + all the historic mining buildings and the train station!

Good location

This hotel is at an excellent location for visiting the main street and highlights of the town. The restaurant Peder Hiort Mathus had good food and a good selection, so we went there twice.

I have traveled all around the world and this was the smallest room I have ever been in. The size of a closet. It was not updated to today’s standards. It was dirty and dusty the bathroom floor was cracked and the sink was all chipped up. The breakfast you had to order on line and very limited. My wife wanted a cappuccino with breakfast and they wanted to charge us for it saying only black coffee came with the breakfast. I would say this is only a two star hotel.

Skikkelig dårlig rom med masse støy fra ventilasjon eller en pumpe uten i fra. Radiatorene på rommet bråkte også veldig, natt med lite søvn. Dårlige puter og en uhygienisk bad. Dårlig frokost. Eneste + var middagen på resturanten på hotellet. Velger ikke dette hotellet igjen.

Turist på Røros

Vi hadde med oss hund og fikk et meget lite dobbelt rom. Etter samtale med resepsjonen fikk vi et større rom. Rom og deler av bygget noe utidsmessig. Meget god frokost, hyggelig sitteområde med gasspeis. Spa området nytt og hyggelig. Meget trivelig resepsjon

Vi mistet strømmen på lørdagsmorgen, ikke hotellets feil og de gjorde det de kunne får at oppholdet skulle bli best mulig. Kanskje sette opp noe lys i trappoppgangen når slikt skjer? Der var det helt mørkt, selv når det ble dagslys.
