We had a pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent—very close to the Vatican and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants. The service was generally very good, and the room was well-equipped with everything we needed, including slippers, multiple towels, beauty sets, and toothbrushes. Housekeeping was done daily, which we appreciated.
Most of the staff were helpful and welcoming, though unfortunately, our experience upon arrival was not ideal. There was an African man at reception who did not assist us at all, despite the fact that we had a baby, a stroller, and several bags. He did not came with us to show the room especially when we have been there for the first time. That was disappointing.
The room itself was not huge, but it was a good size for the three of us. The main issue was the bed—the mattress made squeaky noises and seemed quite old, which led to some back pain. The pillows were also too big and firm for our liking, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The have to invest a little bit more on this side taking into account that the accommodation has 4 stars.
