"Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere....

"Lots of shops 3 supermarkets, lots of pizza places. 13 min walk to the Pantheon. Buses pass by in front easy 15 mins to Vatican one way, and 15 minutes to Roma termini thebother way. Be prepared to face traffic if there is some sort of festivities as they close their streets. But otherwise great central location. Front staff are all nice an, helpful and informative "

"This property was spacious and located within walking distance to most highlights in Roma … assuming you like walking and exploring. Plenty of nearby shops and places to dine. Property manager was very responsive to our needs. Only issue we had was control of the heat as it was Winter here in Roma."
