"They kept my deposit because "the room was messy" which seems criminal to me. I don't travel with a mop, and its not like they have garbage cans for you to use (they do but you can only put small items in them, if they're not already full). I was there for two weeks, and there's no microwave on the whole property, so sometimes when id make food id leave a little mess, but I cleaned as much as I could before I left. There were numerous times my room key stopped working and I needed help from the front desk staff. When I went to the front desk there was no one there and no one was answering the phone so I couldn't get into my room for like 20 minutes. This was like 10pm I dont know why there was no one there. But the worst part is the attitude of the staff. If you dare complain about any of the horrible things going on at the hotel they will make you feel like you have no right to complain or be upset. I dont have a place of my own right now so things are tough, and I currently have no money to my name and motel 6 is keeping my $60 because they didnt feel like cleaning or whatever BS excuse they wanna give to justify stealing. Trust me, stay somewhere else"

"We had two issues. First, the HVAC unit ran continuously on a cooling setting. The controls did not work so we were chilly the whole time. Turns out there was a wall thermostat that overrode the controls on the unit Second, the hotel description listed a buffet breakfast at a fixed price beginning at 6. We got up and went there only to find that the time had been changed to 7. When we returned at 7, there was no buffet. The menu was ala carte and if you added in the usual items from a buffet, like juices, coffee and tea, yogurts or fruits, the cost was much higher than the advertised buffet."
