Disappointing for a Supposed 4-Star Hotel
We stayed at Marina Frapa Hotel expecting 4-star quality but would rate it closer to 3 stars. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of food. The pool area was enjoyable and provided some relaxation.
However, several issues impacted our stay. Hot water and electricity were unreliable — three of us ended up washing in cold water from the sink as the shower wouldn’t work initially. When we raised this with the front desk, it took multiple attempts before they resolved it. Even worse, we were accused of lying about the issue, which was both insulting and unprofessional.
There were also clear safety hazards around the property for young children, so families should be cautious. Additionally, the atmosphere among staff was tense — with loud arguments and even objects thrown in public view.
All in all, we were relieved to check out. This hotel has potential, but the service and maintenance issues need urgent attention.
