"I had an amazing stay in this extraordinary hotel. By good fortune, my 2 night stay was spent in a room on the east side, and the second night, in a room on the west side. Best of both worlds on the great Fraser River. There was a noise issue from the plaza opposite on my first night. I will be eternally grateful to the wonderful desk staff, who moved me the next morning, to the west side, and even gave me a splendid upgrade. "

"Room and sheets were dirty on check-in; had to change room. There were other issues as well during the stay. The staff was friendly and polite. Due to the cleanliness issue, i would not stay there again."

"I like the indoor whirlpool tub. It was the most luxurious and satisfying experience at the hotel. Alex at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt like being at home with a friend from somewhere. The balcony allowed me to get a city view in the mornings. Dislike: Carpeting is showing signs of aging in room, public area and in the gym Wall paper in room in peeling off and getting old, yellowish look. The gym room did not even have bulk bottled water dispenser available. I guess the executives would have to get used to drinking tap water directly from tap. Machines need to be wiped down from time to time. How about cleaning the windows for a clearer view from the room?"

"We have stayed here several times - the hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient with easy access. It's quiet, but can be noisier on weekends if teams/tournaments are staying. Staff are helpful and friendly. This time, we had dinner in The Wild Fig Restaurant one night. Our server, Barbara, was pleasant and knowledgeable."

"It was very clean and lots of space for my son and I. Located near the Burnaby Golf Course that we loved. It is self contained, but was not sound proof, bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Not scent free, we unplugged multiple wick plug-ins during our stay. Overall a good place to stay. "
