「The hotel is in an excellent location to MUSC, West Ashley, and James Island. Our room had a beautiful view back toward MUSC and the city. The desk agents were friendly and helpful. While the rooms have been updated there needs to be better maintenance given the older nature of the property. I would stay at this property again but I hope they’ll invest in maintenance a bit more.」

「They were renovating we came for overnight stay. We arrived late Tv didn’t work and got woken up at 7:45 by carbon monoxide detector. We got dressed and checked out let front desk know tv was not working and alarm was going off in the room we originally thought it was fire alarm with low battery until front desk agent told us it was carbon monoxide detector she had been getting notice but hadn’t had time to do anything about it. Not sure if low battery or we were lucky to make it out alive....

It was clean, in a very safe area, and the lobby nicely decorated, although there is some need for maintenance around the property. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. 「The property was under construction while we stayed here. I felt taken advantage of because of this. Any other place we could have stayed didn’t have the noise or displacement we felt. I still paid full price for a property that wasn’t a complete product that I paid for. Construction ALL day, maybe a couple hours of no construction while we stayed. That should have been reflected in what was charged. We would have stayed somewhere else for the same price. I hope corporate reads this as I...
