「Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. 「Stayed here as an overnight stop after visiting friends in Market Drayton, very impressed, every aspect of our stay was perfect. Our room had been recently redecorated and was in pristine condition, good and comfortable bed, bathroom a little on the small side but perfectly fine. Nice, quiet countryside location, set in lovely grounds in a historic house in which Garibaldi stayed during his visit to Britain. 「This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District.」
