Overall stay was ok the building was in poor condition stucko on most of the building was cracked or missing. Overall, outside of the building needs a facelift, it looks a little run down. our room it's 220 the door mechanism stuck real bad. You may get in the room or not. After many attempts. The stucco in the bathroom wall was completely missing down to the drywall not to mention housekeeping, will walk right in without any announcement. Have your door locked and breakfast options were very slim.

There was no signage or lighting to find this property situated at the top of a steep hilltop in housing area. Two other hotels located on the road down below and hard to miss, not hojos.

The room looked nothing like the photos online. The paint was peeling off the walls. Cigarette burns all over the side of the tub. A burned hole in the comforter. Carpet was dirty. The door lock outside the door was missing the battery cover so the batteries were exposed.

First I was given a room with two queen beds instead of a king which I reserved.

Motel is conveniently located and the exterior was fairly clean. But we thought the inside felt old and in need of a remodel. Cleanliness was not the best either. There was dust on the top of the head boards of the beds and the rooms did not have a fresh, clean feel. Separately, breakfast is advertised as included, but all that was available was some defrosted frozen waffles, a couple of yogurts and a few overcooked sausages. Not much, not fresh and enough to go around for our party of 6. Perhaps a rating of 3 is generous, but it was cheap.

The bathroom was dirty, the blanket was stained, the sofa was stink and soiled. The hotel had exposed rebar, peeling paint, unpved driveway, no breakfast items and unsecure hotel doors.

Technically, everything was functional, and it could still be worse, but other than the staff (who were very nice) it was still a very unpleasant experience. The first thing we noticed was that the room had a pungent musty smell reminiscent of body odor. The bathroom did not seem like it was cleaned at all. The room and the property in general were in a state of general disrepair. Furniture was very worn, towels had holes in them, tub has corrosion spots eating through the surface, the bottom of the tub was somehow squishy, and the plugs were falling out of the outlets (which is a fire hazard). Breakfast was barely there and was even more disappointing than a normal continental breakfast.

I left with one night in my stay remaining. I discovered my door could be opened from the outside WITHOUT my hotel key. Maintenance did nothing about it when I flagged someone down as I was leaving for a graduation. So when I got back and discovered it was still able to be unlocked from the outside, I packed up and left. There is obviously no point in bringing up safety concerns to maintenance.

There is nothing to like about this property. Paid around $150 per night but got frogs and ants in the room, dirty carpets, worn-out power outlets with loose connections, non-working microwave, third-class breakfast, no coffee option in the room or after breakfast in the lobby. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

STAY AWAY!! THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. If I could rate this place a negative 10 I would. Dirty, cracked sink, cracked toilet, duck tape holding broken window together, non working blow dryer. When checked in was told tv service was out. I now see that this has been the case for months! Do not stay here! Pictures on line show a simple but ok place. They are a lie! I only booked here because everything else in the area was booked. We actually considered sleeping in the car! I went to Walmart and bought garbage bags and lined the bed and pillows in plastic and refused to sleep under the covers. It also wasn’t inexpensive. AVOiD, AVOiD, AVOiD. PS I also noticed that the outside elevator hasn’t been inspected since 2023 according to the certificate. Should be shut down!
