The hotel is at a good location and the new building is great besides the restaurant too is wonderful with great food and wonderful live music. The worry is if you get a regular room you will get a stale room with bed sheets and walls very stale. Pls only consider new building not the heritage (old wing)

Room was clean, staff was friendly, restaurant was great as well. The view was one of the best. Only thing mis-leading was the name of the Hotel "Divine ganga cottage" which doesn't exist and the property is being combined with another property name Antalaya. Also, the shower unit had the hold and cold switch reversed causing lots of confusion to take hot shower. Overall good experience staying.

Fantastic stay
I was impressed with the behavior of top management. They try to know and solve the concerns (if any)of their customers. Food was healthy and tasty. We personally congratulated the head chef. Property location is amazing. Will definitely stay in this hotel in our next trip to Rishikesh.

Very much enjoyed staying in this cottage. The stuff are friendly and hospitable. The view from the cottage is the best and lots of shops walking distance. Our special appreciation to Mr. Vivekanandan who was excellent in his service and understanding. Would definitely visit here again.

Fantastic service from the friendly and helpful hotel staff. Good breakfast menu. Fantastic location, view, and outdoor facilities. The rooms on the first floor were a bit humid and had a slight modly smell.

The rooms are basically clean but the decor is uninspired. The outdoor space has been cleverly done: By running balconies with staircases between three adjacent buildings and stringing it all with plants, they make a fairly compact space feel airy. If it had been less polluted, the rooftop cafe would have been very nice. I had only one complaint about the management: They told us they could get a car for our next destination for rs. 5000, so we turned down another offer for 6500, then they contaced us late at night to say the car would actually be Rs. 7500, by which time it was too late to accept our other offer. I found this dishonest.

This is the perfect spot when visiting Rishikesh. The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, and the walking distance to all the sights is very comfortable. The view of the Ganges is beautiful.

Rishikesh was my favorite part of a trip all over India, and Divine Gangha Cottages were an absokute delight. The service is a 10/10, rooms and bathrooms have great, super hot water and are very (!) clean. The restaurant is absolutely amazing. I was even feeling sick one morning, and Ravinder at the restaurant had the chef make me a special healing soup for dinner that evening. And I felt so much better after! The only thing to be aware of is that the bottom floor can be a bit loud with all the activity, so if you’re a light sleeper I would request an upper floor or quiet area. The property is large, so they can easily accommodate. Oh, and the view of the Ganges while you have breakfast? Priceless!

The customer service was very welcoming. The room was small and bed very hard. Great view on terrace and quiet away from noise. Would recommend if you don't mind the room being small.

There was no wifi, no hot water, and only 5-30 mins of electricity at a time, with it being off more than it is on. This is despite other guest houses in the area, at a much cheaper price, having all these amenities. Sometimes in Rishikesh the power goes out for a rain storm, but this is the first place I've been to just without any of these services provided at all, and there hasnt been rain since I got in. I went to speak with the reception about it in a polite way, thinking the situation would have a remedy, and he immediately began shouting at me, I believe his tactic was to intimidate me away from placing my legitimate concerns. Even as he was shouting that the electricity was provided, the electricity went out. I repeatedly asked him to calm down and he just began shouting that there is no discount and no refund. Normally I trust hotels.com and I have never come into a situation like this before but now I deeply regret booking beforehand as the hotel is nothing like its being advertised on the site. Not to mention my room is also plagued by giant spiders (3 so far) and tiny beetles are all in my bed. My other friends from my yoga school have found much nicer hotels in more central locations for about 8-10USD per night. The hotel is pretty empty besides me and I understand why.

Sweet, comfortable, beautiful staff, food & rooms
My son and I visited Divine Ganga Cottage on our recent stay in Rishikesh. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with lovely views of the Ganges River. The food was absolutely excellent, much of the ingredients sourced from the organic garden next door. The staff was sweet, helpful and made side trips very comfortable and easy to access. The location is fabulous for exploring Rishikesh and across the Lakshman Jhula bridge into Swarg Ashram. I highly recommend this sweet, comfortable hotel - a little quiet retreat with friendly, knowledgable staff and excellent food just off the main streets of busy Rishikesh.

Do not stay here
Our experience with this hotel was absolutely horrible. We booked a room to accommodate 4 people (two adults, two teen age children) and the room they gave us had one king size bed. Their solution was to offer an extra mattress on the floor for additional charge. Things only got worse. Cockroaches, mosquitos and dishonest owners created a horrible experience.

Nice Quiet location by the Ganges. Terrible rooms
We booked the hotel for 2 nights. The location of the hotel was great. You can see the Ganges, and the mountains the view was awesome. Everything about this hotel is good (staff, location, views) but the rooms are terrible. The rooms are very small. No table lamps, two very bright tube lights that flood the room, so if you want to relax or read book in dim light you cannot! The walls have paint and plaster pealing off. The bathrooms are SMALL. The toilets were leaking water. The shower water will flow out to the sink area making it very slick. No soap, or shampoo provided to guests. What can I say, I had extensive conversation about this with the manager - he was a very nice guy, but didn't seem to have any power to do much.

Bra läge och trevlig personal. Fin terass med unikt över Ganges. Enda nackdelen om man har ett rum mot innergården så kommer och åker det motorcyklar 24/4 in på gården och morgonpigg personal och gäster står och pratar precis utanför gästernas dörrar på entréplan. Annars ett väldigt bra hotell!

メイン通りから路地を進んだ先にありました 道路照明もロクにないような所なので、懐中電灯持参をオススメします 車も通れないような道なので、ノンビリ過ごせます 隣が学校なので、子供の声がいつも聞こえてて、微笑ましい気持ちにさせてもらいました ホテルのせいではなく、地域的に電気系統がしっかりしていないのかもしれません 停電が多々ありました 今回は、一泊でしたが、長期滞在してみたい宿ではあります

A great location close to everything. Within walking distance to the river. Beautiful patio with an amazing view to the river. The staff was very helpful with ideas of what to do, arranging drivers, tour guides etc. The owners were especially delightful to talk with and help us plan our few days there. The restaurant has a great view also and the food was very good, you could even enjoy it out on the patio.

A shocker...!
I initially book this hotel via expedia for two night and for two rooms. I arrived there by 5pm and i was greeted by tons of mosquito. Although there are many sign boards to lead you to the hotel, the pathway from the main road to the hotel is bumpy and narrow. I would say that this is a place suited for backpackers and not for family travel. The staffs are not well trained and the amenities in the room are not up the price they charge for the room. The standard room is small. The TV was not working properly and there was no water the next morning. I was concern for the children and so we decided to check out the next day. I would probably give this hotel a 2 1/2 star.

イベントがあり混雑すると思い、念のため事前に予約をしておきたく探していたらてこの宿を見つけました。事前予約できる宿の中では比較的お手頃だったので予約してみましたが、設備は近くにある数百ルピーの宿と大差なく、コストパフォーマンスはあまりいいと感じませんでした。ただ、どうしても事前に予約をしておきたく、且つ比較的安価なところを探しているなら、悪いところは一つもなかったのでおすすめです。ルーフトップのレストランがあり、食事はしていませんが、ガンガーの眺めがとてもよかったです。

Great Choice for Rishikesh
We stayed for 3 nights after a trek in the Himalayas. We were very pleased with our choice. The restaurant is open all day and offers a great, reasonably priced selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. We found the owners and staff to be kind, friendly and helpful. The lay-out of the hotel is very unique and it is a great space. Very conveniently located to wherever you would want to go in Rishikesh, without being in the heart of noise or traffic. This was a great, affordable option in Rishikesh and I would definitely stay here again.

I found it very pricey for the simple qulaity
I had much higher expectations given the price they charge. Rooms , facility very simple, basic budget hotel style. It should be half the price compared to Rishikesh prices . Manager, staff very friendly, good customer service. Restaurant simple, but good food.

Wasn't able to stay at this property last year while visiting as they had no vacancy of the dates I needed. So glad that was able to this year! Divine Ganga Cottage is fantastic in all regards and gave me just what I was looking for on my Pilgrimage to Rishikesh. Wish only that I had enough time to stay longer - perhaps a couple of weeks at a stretch. Was given an especially generous greeting by Vivek. He continued to make his presence known throughout my stay to assure that all of my queries and needs were met and exceeded which they were. He is very personable and energetic and exudes warmth. A fantastic, accommodating host. Room size was standard but came with all the standard amenities which were in good working order. The only suggestion that I might offer is to provide a place to hang clothes as this room nor those I've stayed in before had such. Restaurant is top notch, food is divine, and service is solid. Some items on the varied menu were unavailable as were told that they were seasonal. Close to all tourist/spiritual happenings. This can be a trip for inner growth, an exciting adventure, or both. You are not limited here. Please do not hesitate staying here. Having been to Rishikesh several times now and staying at a few different properties, this is the one that I find to be most suitable in most all ways. I believe that you will find this as well. Oh, didn't mention - Right on the Ganga!

We were warmly greeted and provide with answers to many questions about activities. Our room, with a view of the Ganges, was more than expected---huge with a sitting area. When I wanted to extend my reservation, I was only able to stay in a small room, which was my choice because I liked the service and caring owners.

Feels like Family Truly Lovely experience
Organic Cafe Restaurant with lovely and quick room service, amazing Ganga view room, good room heater, Caring Attentive owners and staff. Seema and Vivek are loving lovely hosts, Radhe, Godame and Rakesh, all the restaurant staff are all so sweet. Highly recommended for a surely memorable stay. Amrita taught a wonderful yoga class as this morning. Book your stay here, it deserves more than 3 stars. Peaceful neighborhood.

This Hotel location is in narrow lane. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel food items are charged exorbitantly at higher price, probably several foreigners stay over there. Nothing is complimentary. Can have better value for money I'm other places too.

Nur wenige Minuten von der Lakshman Jhula entfernt, bietet das Hotel einen guten Komfort für relativ wenig Geld. Sollte man Wünsche haben, hilft das freundliche Personal gerne weiter.

Nice hotel in Tapovan, Rishikesh.
This hotel is in the Tapovan area of Rishikesh. It is clean. The staff and Gautama, the hotel owner, are very friendly and very happy to help. It is about a 5 minutes walk to Laxman Jhula bridge. Close to Ajatananda Ashram. One thing I really enjoyed is the fact that it is just far enough so that we don't really hear the traffic and constant honking.... I was staying in a Deluxe Room with Ganga view. Nice view indeed. I would be happy to go back there next time I'm in Rishikesh.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Nice terasse to enjoy breakfast with Ganges view. Rooms are small but fine for a short stay. Clean. Nice bedding. Quite area which is great to relax as the town is very noisy. Still close to shopping and a 15 min walk or rickshaw ride from ashrams & ghats. Would stay here again.

Ganges view hotel
The Divine Ganga is easy to find, signs are posted on the roads to guide you in. It is extremely well located, in easy walking distance to Laxman Jhula, shopping and tourist areas. The hotel has balconies with wonderful view of the Ganges, very relaxing setting. They allowed us to take a larger more expensive view room to share with friends. The actual room view was only so-so. The room was very large. The staff was courteous. The restaurant is not good! I was initially excited by the room service menu that offered brown rice and other hard to find in India healthy fare, but when I went to the restaurant some the kitchen staff told me they were actually opening a brand new restaurant "tomorrow" and that today they only had dal, rice, and a vegetable. The basic meal they did provide was adequate and somewhat tasty, but I don't believe for a moment that "tomorrow" will ever come. The kitchen staff were very simple guys, not much English, and I saw absolutely no signs of renovation or preparation in the kitchen. The yoga balcony looked like an excellent space in good weather, and the indoor yoga room also adequate. Our room was expensive for what it provided.
