A little difficult to get to with a hurt back and an injured leg. But that's just an inherent characteristic of the area. Owner was very attentive and helpful.

Excellent stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very clean, with lovely patio. Lots of breakfast choices to suit all tastes. Would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not high-end, but are comfortable and very clean with everything you need. The breakfast selection is quite nice too!

Great spot that was clean and very close to town. Host was very nice and offered many tips on how to get around the villages. Parking available for small fee which was very convenient. Nice little breakfast spread. Be prepared to climb many steps but that's Italy for you! Would stay again!

A very cozy hotel, the staff is so polite and friendly, breakfast is delicious, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the amenities are all working. Very recommended!

A wonderful stay! Will be staying here again if I ever return! The owner is so friendly and was very accommodating to my gluten allergy at breakfast. The property is so clean and tucked away on the hill away from the hustle and bustle. There is AC and a nice out door seating area. Absolutely loved this BnB!!

Home away from home.
Very happy with all aspects of location, hospitality and comfort. Near all cafes and shops, marina and train. Welcoming and happy to assist with inquiries. The room itself was wonderful. Nice size bathroom and shower was amazing (little things that make a difference) room is spacious and a cute patio. Enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful stay! Make sure you follow the walking directions you are sent when booking to avoid climbing unnecessary amounts. Such kind owners and there was a nice breakfast included (even had gluten free bread at breakfast for celiacs). Highly recommend!

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Zimmer sind zwar einfach eingerichtet, aber sauber und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Ruhige Lage, aber trotzdem nur 2-3 (steile) Gehminuten vom Zentrum Riomaggiores entfernt.

Enrico and his wife were very inviting and gave us excellent suggestions for dinner and site seeing. The room was fantastic and the A/C was very appreciative after walking around Cinque Terre’s 4 other towns. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel de Sole, we did for 3 nights. Breakfast is simple Italian, coffee or cappuccino, fruits, breads, pastries, cheese, ham, tomatoes, and of course nuttella and jams. Lastly, the personal touches in and around the hotel were much appreciated. Definitely would recommend it to travelers to the area. Sincerely, Patrick & Cassie

Enrico is so helpful with suggestions for the area and any questions guests might have. He and his staff are also super attentive and thoughtful - when they noticed me bringing my own lactose-free milk down to breakfast they brought over some lactose-free yoghurt and milk options which I don’t usually expect at accommodation. Enrico also loaned us a travel adapter plug when we needed one, and he is very quick to respond to any questions via email/message that you might have before or after your stay. The breakfast provided is plentiful and tasty. The hotel is situated just a minute or two away from the buzzing Riomaggiore shops and dining area but this means it is nice and quiet in the room and outside on the room patio. There is a short steep hill to walk up, and steps up to the room which must be navigated with luggage. Enrico provides options before arrival for getting your luggage from the train station to the hotel to minimise the physical effort. Our room and bed was a good size and the air conditioning worked well. As constant tea drinkers the only other thing we could’ve wished for was a kettle for making tea in the room in the evenings, but overall this was a great place to stay.

Great hotel in quieter area but still close to the marina and shopping. Spacious room, with all amenities, comfortable sleeping and lovely balcony to enjoy the view with a glass of wine. Breakfast very good and loved that they had a pot of brewed coffee. One mistake we made was following google maps from train station. Took us up many many winding steps that we could have avoided. All part of the adventure and a good story to tell our family. Enrico and his wife were lovely hosts. Thanks for a great stay!

Enkelt, men bra.
Fint hotell med egen liten uteplass rett ved inngangen til rommet. Lite kjøleskap med plass til noe drikke. Rent og pent. Vårt rom var romslig. Enkel, men god frokost. WiFi fungerer. Vi drar gjerne til dette hotellet igjen om vi ferdes i området.

I needed to checkout a day early due to a rail road strike over all of Italy. The only way to guarantee I was going to get to Venice was to leave a day early. Hotel Del Sole in Riomaggiore wouldn’t cut me any slack and refused to refund 1 nights stay.

Dear Robert,indeed there was a train strike on the dayof your departure, but it was limited from 10:00 to 17:00,I warned you about the strike the day before and we looked at the train schedule together, many trains were already fully booked but there were other alternative solutions, you could have left before 10:00 or after 17:00 but you decided to leave 1 day earlier, we weregiving you the service you paid for and the room remained at your disposal.After stealing all the mini-bar drinks and not paying the tourist tax, I think you have a lot of courage to criticize our hotel.Anyway I wish you the best for the rest of your Italian tour.Kind regardsEnrico

Great time at del Sole!
Amazing time. Enrico went out of his way to give us tips on how to get there from the train station without having to pull the heavy suitcase, gave us tips on what to do and how to get places by bus, and also was willing to give us breakfast earlier than usual as we had to leave early. Overall a great time, we will certainly be back should we visit Riomaggiore again.

Comodo il parcheggio privato e chiuso tutto il giorno, camere silenziose e pulite con una bella terrazza dove passare alcuni momenti di relax. Prezzo giusto. personale gentile. Niente da eccepire. Probabilmente la migliore struttura come rapporto qualità prezzo.
