"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France.
Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must.
Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Excellent stay, we would recommend to anyone.
Very good breakfast.
Caroline the host is a very lovely lady who genuinely seems to like running her B&B.
The pool was very refreshing in the 41 degree heat wave!"

"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. The host then prepared a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal with wine. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy, with a wonderful views over the vineyards. In the morning a lovely prepared breakfast outside and the friendly hosts couldn’t be more accommodating. We will 100% be returning each year as we travel to Spain, thank...

"Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated...

"We stayed for one week at the end of July and enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check- in went smooth even though we arrived day later Reception is open only for limited hours during day but you can easily check in/out- out of office hours, just contact host for the instructions.
Place is very calm and quiet, surrounded by vineyards. Best is to have a car to explore the area. Uless you preffere stay in and dip in the pool.Around 1 hour drive to very nice and not overcrowded Narbonne Beach(mediterrean sea). You can even venture to Barcelona (over 2 hour drive) if you like. There is a lake just few minutes drive away with designated beach and area to swim. Also highly recommend a boat trip on Canal du Midi.
Azille makes a good travel base on a budget. There is a mini-supermarket less than 5 min drive away.
Good value for the price.Great escape from busy, crowded London.
You can buy vine from the Juarres Vinery at the reception or book a taster at vinery just next to Residence. You can rent a bike there as well.
Things to know. You need to clean your rented apartment before leaving or pay a fee of €90.There is no cleaning products or toileteries. Just Towels and toilette paper included.Kitchen eqipped with electric hob &kettle, fridge, toaster, microvave and filtered coffee machine. No Oven.
Deffinitely would reccomend it.Thank you very much La Residence du Chateau de Juarres for our lovely break with You."
"Wonderful French chateau with a wonderfully friendly staff. We extended our stay here due to the charm and ambience as we head to Spain for the eclipse. The room is perfect, with the best bed we have experienced this trip and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was also great. Spectacular value for money. I highly recommend a stay here."
"What a lovely place to stay. Everything was perfect and the aircon was so welcome in this heatwave. We will be back here next year on our journey home. Big thank you to our host. Brilliant."
"This was clearly the nicest place we stayed on our bike trip from Carcassonne to Sete. The host couple, Natalie and Sebastien, could not have more welcoming or helpful. Their quiet little chambres de hotes is very close to the Canal du Midi path and very relaxing. The swimming pool was a delight after a day on the bike and they served us beers poolside (extra charge). Their extremely friendly pup, Violette, was an unexpected delight. I recommend taking them up on the offer for a seat at their table de hotes as well. It was a delicious meal on their terrace. I would recommend that you consider planning each stage of your trip around an overnight stop at Le Colibri Bleu."
"Perfect stay even for 1 passing night. Comfy beds and nice staff and they were very welcoming with my dog. Heated pool was perfect for the morning too! Loved it."
