Fantastic friendly staff and creative room designs. The breakfast was well prepared and healthy. The surroundings are quite noisy - we were unlucky to stay for the weekend, and had to listen to a night disco during the whole night.

Went on a couple's trip - 1 night in Rio Location: Perfect. Right off the main road, minutes from the the popular Selaron steps & walking distance from the Metropolitan Cathedral and other great attractions. Staff: Helpful, fun and English-speaking. Room: just as pictured. Clean, working AC & clean air Vibe: Picturesque the roof top was a great night vibe - order a Caipirinha and just chill. Or have dinner before heading up to your room.

One of the best hostels! The dining options were great, the room clean, guard on duty (it's Brazil....). Pretty building. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go.

Window in our room wouldn't close, reception sent maintenance up promptly but it wasn't fixable. Also the tap in the shower had been spun out from the wall so wouldn't work, but we screwed back on ourselves once we figured it out. Mattress needed replacing or cleaning. Good location next to the selaron steps, markets and Lapa for food and bars. Breakfast had a nice selection. Rooftop bar was an added bonus. Quiet inside the hotel.

Good location & nice staff

The staff were super lovely and the property is in a good location. The rooms are nice but I think we were just a bit unfortunate to get one without a working extractor fan which made the room a bit damp and smelly... we did let them know but we were only there for a short time! Wifi was good Kitchen could do with a few more spoons!

It’s a awesome hotel they have a kitchen so you can cook and save money a library my room didn’t have hot water but maybe that’s normal in Brazil the area is kinda scary to walk around at night but in the day time is pretty safe

My wife and son enjoyed their stay even though their room did not have a tv. I cant remember if I saw that it would be so that is on me. All that matters is they enjoyed their stay.

Good location for Centro. Check-in stuff great. Rooms are fine. It’s really a young persons hotel. Very loud until 10pm, DJs etc. Breakfast chaotic and not great, which is an exceptional for Brazil. That said, good value for money.

The hotel is located in the tourist area of Lapa in a good way. Is best to get ESIMS before you get there so you can enjoy your touring with UBER because they are always around the hotel and saves you lots of of heartache due to language barrier. The Rooftop bar is also convienently on top of the hotel. I did not experience much noise either.

I like the room. It was thoughtfully decorated and very clean. I didn’t find the staff very helpful or pleasant. It was like I was bothering them whenever I’d ask for information. It was the other guests who helped me when needed. The kitchen only had 2 spoons, no bowls, and 2 cups. I think it’s important to let people know that the Lapa area, at least near the hotel, has a lot of homelessness and people addicted to substances. I think having a Welcome Session to inform guests about the property, location, and public transportation options would be very helpful.
