Honestly, after reading some of these reviews I was scared to stay here. I can assure you dont listen to them. It was the best experience. The room was great, I got lucky and got a room on the 10th floor for myself and the sea views are spectacular. The staff are great and help where they can. Bar in the lobby and they tend to you and make you feel comfortable if youre drinking there. Breakfast was great one of the best hotel breakfasts ive ever had, probably the best, so many options, never had to eat breakfast outside. The beach was a plus right across the street and they had numerous chair vendors to choose from if you dont want to carry a chair from the hotel to the beach. I would definitely consider staying here again in Barra when I come back to Brazil. Im a barra girlie now!

Bathroom general cleanliness. Some bath supplies like hand soap were not available. It took one day for them to put in the room. The sink was clogged and this was not resolved. The bathroom ceiling was full of mosquitoes. Even after spraying with insecticide, they did not disappear.

One of the guards had a horrible attitude towards the guests. I just finished using one of the massage chairs in the lobby and he was yelling at me to vacate the chair!

Humedad en el cuarto, techos con manchas de humedad, piso levantado por la humedad, hongos en la ducha, shampoo sin recambio en la ducha. El agua del lavamanos no fluía por las cañerías, ya que parecí tapado. Ascensores muy sucios. Desayuno muy bien pero para la gente celíaca deberían tener más opciones y una zona apartada para que no haya contaminación cruzada o podrian ofrecer un desayuno a la carta para los celíacos. Como punto positivo es la opción de tener sombrillas y silletas para la playa. En cuanto a la piscina, le falta limpieza ya que se veían manchas de hongos y, algunas veces, latas de cerveza o envoltorios flotando

The location was literally across the street from the beach. Very convenient to grab a bite to eat or some very good and strong drinks! Lol. The elevator situation can be a little confusing if you use the wrong one, because they have a dedicated service elevator that will have you stuck if you are not careful. The far left elevator in the lobby smelled just like puppies 🐶🐾. Since this is a dog, friendly hotel, be mindful of the pet aroma. The rooms can use more wall decor, but otherwise it’s good for a short two or three day stay.

Hotel con desastroso mantenimiento. Olor a humedad en las 2 habitaciones que nos dieron . Una eran 2 camas dobles y nos dieron una cama doble y un sofá cama. Caja fuerte Rota . Reclamaron . Nunca la arreglaron. Personal amable poco resolutivo. Anotan pero no ejecutan. Desayuno medio en nivel de la norma media de un buen hotel de Río. No le sobra nada para aprobar.
