Hotel looks very modern. The room is equipped with brand new furniture and all works well. The staff is so kind and helpful. Only issue I had is the noise done by other rooms upstairs. I have very positive to this hotel

The hotel at South was good. My room was in the back on the second level so I was insulated a lot from the clubs out front. Even with noise canceling headphones, I could still hear the music until 5 AM most nights. The staff was excellent.

The hotel is a very accessible location. You can walk to the arco s de lapa and escadaria selaron. Since it is a prime area, you will hear loud music at night. If you are a deep sleeper, then it is no problem. The room is clean and has the essentials you need.

Not for light sleepers or folks with back pain,

The hotel is located in a party area, so there’s lots of noise from neighboring bars, especially on Friday and Saturday until a lesser degree Sunday nights. The mattresses were very thin and uncomfortable. The area felt safe, but it is very isolated from the rest of Rio. The area lacks grocery stores and convenience stores, so it wasn’t helpful having a kitchenette when I had nowhere to buy groceries.The towels were very poor quality . The elevator broke down during my stay, so I had to relocate to a lower floor. They graciously accommodated that request. Unfortunately, when I got to the new room, there was no bidet, no hangers for the clothes, and no safe. I understand that elevators break down, but there’s no logical explanation for them to have inconsistencies in the amenities from one identical room to the next. The staff was great, but it would be nice if they had more English proficiency to accommodate tourism.

The place was pretty and immaculate. They only give one key. Needed help getting in every time we left. The key never worked. You need the key to make the electricity work. That means no charging anything while you’re out. No cooling the room for your return. It is a short walk to the famous Stairs. There are no windows in the rooms.

Novo, boa localização, mas sem papel higiênico

Segunda vez no hotel. Tudo novo. Boa localização para quem quer focar na lapa. Dessa vez a equipe de manutenção vacilou. Além de não ter sabonete na pia esqueceram do papel higiênico, isso mesmo, NÃO tinha papel higiênico. Aliás, não tinha nem o suporte para colocar o papel. Ah, também não tem ducha higiênica.

Bom custo benefício e bem localizado

O check in e o check out foram fáceis e simples. Os funcionários são simpáticos e prestativos. As instalações são modernas e agradáveis. O quarto é de bom tamanho, limpo e organizado. A TV é moderna e tem os principais aplicativos de streaming. Banheiro e chuveiro são ok. O colchão poderia ser um pouco mais confortável, achei um pouco mole para o meu gosto. Prefiro colchões mais firmes. À localização é boa, bem central, perto de comércio, restaurantes, supermercados, etc. É fácil a locomoção para os principais pontos da cidade. Por ser localizado na Lapa, um bairro com vida diurna e noturna agitadas não é muito silencioso, o que pode ser um problema para quem tem dificuldade para dormir.. No geral, tive uma boa experiência. Recomendo para quem busca uma opção barata e bem localizada no Centro da cidade.

O hotel está no meio da Lapa. O quarto era silencioso mas sem janela, em um corredor no térreo. Os quartos são novo, tem muitas tomadas, banheiro pequeno mas limpo. O chuveiro não tinha pressão e o chuveiro elétrico ainda assim não esquentou o suficiente. O funcionamento do hotel é do tipo sem café da manhã, mas na região tem muitas padarias. Estacionamento com acesso direto para o hotel. Para estadias curtas, ou aproveitar o centro, pode ser boa opção, especialmente se estiver de carro, mas olhe os preços, pode haver melhor custo benefício.

O Hotel me surpreendeu pelo preço e qualidade. Roupa de cama boa, travesseiro bom e cama boa, apesar dos rangidos que tinha. No meu quarto não tinha fichinha higiênica e tem fotos que mostram ter. A desejar o barulho nos corredores, principalmente dos próprios funcionários. Podiam treinar e melhorar isto. No geral valeu a pena.

Acomodação prática e bonita para os boêmios.

Achamos muito bonito, porém algumas coisas nos desagradaram. A não informacao de que o estacionamento era em outra rua nos gerou um possível problema, talvez uma multa, pq tivemos q parar no meio do caos do agito da Lapa para nos informar. O banheiro estava com cheiro ruim, nos pareceu de urina. O colchão consideramos muito mole. Tinha uma pequena janelinha em que a persiana deixava passar luz e nao ficava bem próxima à parede . Nos parecia q se alguem se aproximasse nossa privacidade estaria comprometida, pois estávamos no andar térreo. Tirando isso, nota 10 para a recepção. O quarto além de espaçoso é bem legal. Tem uma mini cozinha, com microondas , frigobar e cooktop de indução. Daria nota 8, pelo custo beneficio.
