Due to a sad incident at a festival it was cancelled and book Burley Manor last minute and late at night. The staff on arrival were so welcoming. I loved my room, and the lounges the hotel offered. Waking to the views was delightful. Overall, I had a great stay.

We were initially given a tiny room on the top floor with no viewout , which was not what we paid for ,Toilet not clean . We were then offered a better room , lovely view out but on closer inspection the curtain linings were ripped , headboard filthy , Mark on the bedsheets and an unwashed bathtowel plus the bathroom Very noisy plumbing and no HOT water so had a cold shower . No complaints about the staff or Food but the general cleanliness of the lounge furniture and the sticky tables left a bit to be desired , so we had one very noisy night and felt unable to stay . The outside area was beautiful

The breakfast not replenished, no egg cups provided !!! Table in conservatory leg falling, shabby chairs. Slow service, staff saying Chef only just turned up. Dining room area full of cobwebs, cleaners need to look above eye level, The rooms shower facilities not great the floor not level . It’s such a shame as the outside of the building and views are great.

First of all the location is beautiful. When we arrived Tanya and the reception team were lovely. Room was very nice and spacious. Whilst we did have a problem with one member of staff at breakfast, Giorgio Hotel Manager quickly resolved and the rest of his team including José and Eduardo were great.

Don’t be fooled by the ambience of the outside of the hotel and the long drive. Once inside very shabby rundown bedrooms, no consideration for disabled people. The breakfast room full of cob webs and broken furniture in the conservatory. A few things not available on the breakfast menu, in spite of saying it did. Boiled eggs, not an egg cup in kitchen!!!!! Residents queuing at 9.30, 2 pieces of ham and 2 pieces of cheese, nothing replenished. Total shambles, from reviews , it seems to be the last month it’s got considerably worse.

The food and staff were genuinely amazing — every meal was delicious and the team were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We also loved the free‑standing bath in our room; such a lovely touch and really added to the experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t sleep well as the room was extremely hot, and the fan provided didn’t help at all. A better cooling option would have made a big difference. The pool itself was beautiful and refreshing, but it did feel a bit awkward during our visit. A bridal party were sitting along the edge with their feet in the water, taking photos — including with a drone — and they were taking up around half the pool space, which made it less relaxing for other guests. Overall, a mix of wonderful service and amenities with a few comfort issues that affected our stay.

Really nice and relaxing hotel in beautiful surroundings. It was clean and staff were friendly. Pricey drinks and a hard bed but bearable for 1 night.
