"I have stayed in hotels and vacation rentals all over the country, both with my family and on my own, and the Muskegon River Inn is easily one of the coolest, most unique places I've ever experienced. The Inn has an incredible blend of historic charm and modern design that makes it feel unlike anywhere else. It's right in the heart of downtown Newaygo, so everything is within walking distance. Grab an amazing coffee next door at Heavenflow Coffee Co., enjoy great food nearby, or walk across the street for a game of pool. It has everything you need for a fun, relaxing getaway without ever having to get back in your car. Heavenflow Coffee Co. Muskegon River Inn What surprised me most was how much I fell in love with Newaygo itself. It's a small Michigan town with an amazing vibe, surrounded by rivers, outdoor adventure, and close enough to the Lake Michigan shoreline and dunes for easy day trips. The atmosphere is welcoming, laid back, and unforgettable. If you're looking for another ordinary hotel, this isn't it. If you're looking for an experience you'll remember long after you leave, the Muskegon River Inn is absolutely worth the trip. I'll definitely be back."

"My Air conditioner broke and I needed a place to stay on short notice. This hotel is such a hidden gem. The staff went above and beyond while I was there. Great amenities and super quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat"

"The hotel was an OK place to spend the night. It does look like it hasn't been updated in a few years. The amenities were worn and dirty. My room was clean overall, but I did notice an ant on my bed when I got up in the morning and a couple crawling on the AC. If you need a place to crash go for it, if you are looking for a better than average place, this isn't it."
