The property is beautiful. The employees are very kind and accommodating. The hotel does not have an elevator. All rooms are located upstairs and hard for those that need assistance.

we were travelling around Jutland. We are from Canada.We chose this hotel for the nostalgia. All the floors were not level. my husband felt that he was rolling towards the side of the bed.Which is understandable for the oldest hotel in Denmark. Upon entering our bathroom, we were not satisfied with the cleanliness of the shower area. So we opted not to shower that day. With regards to parking, you have to park offsite about 250 m away. You were able to pull up in front of the hotel to unload. Breakfast was included and it was just okay.

Dass das Hotel alt ist, war uns bekannt. Es ist teilweise recht ansprechend gestaltet. Das Badezimmer war eklig! Schimmelflecken an der Badewanne und am Waschbecken. Wanne, Toilette und Waschbecken unterirdisch!!! Das Frühstück war eine Zumutung. Kaum Auswahl. Alles lieblos hingestellt. Der Kaffee ungenießbar. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt und es an der Rezeption auch gesagt. Nie wieder diese Hotel!!!

The hotel is in a very nice old building located across from the Ribe Cathedral. It is very centrally located, which makes it easy to walk around town from there. There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel but there are several very good restaurants within a short walking distance. The room we got had probably the smallest shower I have ever experienced, 4x4 ft. It was very difficult to take a good shower. Overall it was a very nice stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend the hotel despite the small bathroom we had.

Middelmådigt ophold

Jeg booker 4 værelser i alt, 3 samlet og det sidste et par måneder senere. Jeg havde en forventning om, at de 3 værelser jeg booker samlet også bliver ved siden af hinanden, men det var slet ikke tilfældet - vi blev fordelt i 3 forskellige bygninger. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke som forventet til prisen. Brandalarmen går i gang meget tidligt, så vi blev alle vækket og 3 timer senere var den stadig i gang. Ikke et hotel vi kommer tilbage til.

Our stay was very nice , comfortable room and delicious breakfast . The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The location is in center of Ribe which is walkable everywhere. The restaurant offer good fools and drinks.

Great location, with many dining options. Annex attic room is small, with barely any facilities. No room service, no towels change, parking at a cost even if not advised at booking.

We wanted to stay at this historic hotel in this historic town. We had high hopes. Our hopes were fulfilled beyond our imagination. The hotel manager is very informative, helpful and engaging. Our room (105) was clean and quiet despite the windows facing the gågade. Bed was comfortable. We dined outside in the courtyard. The wait staff are excellent. We had to leave early in the morning and the kitchen made us a "to go" breakfast. Very kind of them. We highly recommend this hotel.

The oldest hotel in Denmark - but we were pleased to stay in a modernised annex building across from the main hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The main hotel was quirky with its uneven floors and dark decor. Breakfast options were basic and limited - but enough to fill us up.

Hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed. Boede i annekset, gode værelser, behagelige senge. Dejligt ude område Morgenmaden var mangelfuld, der var kø ved buffeten. (meget lille lokale) Det stakkels personale kunne ikke nå at fylde op. Meget venligt og smilende personale.
