We had a great stay while visiting family. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with all our questions. The area is beautiful and you can dine in the restaurant with a gorgeous view of the lake. The food is outstanding everything was fresh and plated beautifully. Gracious hosts who provided a wonderful experience all around.

Nice view, restaurant/bar on site, great staff. Parking right in front of my room, really nice place.
It was really nice, great to walk the walkway for a cup of coffee or a late-night drink without having to drive, dinner was supper our server was Maddie who was patience and sweet and we loved her suggestions. Thank you for a great stay.

Staff was very friendly! Food was good in the restaurant. Full bar and across from a lake. Rooms are clean but outdated. I’d stay here again.
Perfect spot to stay while exploring 'Up North'. I chose this stay based off of a friend's recommendation. They were spot on! It is an older place, but very clean. Beds were very comfy! My main attraction was the attached restaurant and bar. I ate dinner twice and breakfast once. Meals were outstanding. Will be suggesting this place on the IAT FB site. Great value.
Nice place, friendly staff! We were here on a Tuesday with a “limited” menu but they offered everything you’d expect from a tavern. We had an AMAZING Mexican street corn pizza. Room was clean and affordable.
This is a rustic, economy place to stay with incredible setting. It is a Camp for those who love the outdoors but don’t like to sleep outdoors. Not a lot of amenities, great food as awesome service!
This is an older motel and is very rustic. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the carpeting a bit worn but, clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant served a great meal, with generous portions. Ideal place to stay for a fishing adventure!

Family get together
We could have used some extra pillows and did not see Kleenex/tissue in the room. The service at the restaurant and bar was great! Loved the deck and view of the lake.

Nice budget friendly hotel
Camp 28 offered a budget-friendly stay with great views of the lake across the road. The room was comfortable, but not fancy. Has a microwave and mini-fridge. Our room had doors that opened onto both a deck in the front or a hallway with access to the bar and restaurant. Despite being in close proximity to the bar, it was quiet.
Camp 28 is an older property that appears they are trying to slowly rehab. We were told they have owned it for two or three years.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. They have a bar and separate restaurant in the same building. All in all it was ok we would rate them 7 out of 10 at this time.

North woods stay.
No hair driers. No USB ports for charging. Poor TV channels. Crumbling cement in walk ways.
Bar and restaurant were very good.
We have stayed at camp 28 for two years in a row now whenever we go to visit family. We always really enjoy the food offering that you can get at the restaurant downstairs and the rooms are very comfortable.
