This is such a great place to stay when visting Old Town. The beds are very comfortable and the AC works well. We were in room 9 and there were no issues with noise from the parking lot. The breakfast (€10) is a perfect start to the day. It is very easy to navigate through the old town from there. Would recommend Nireas for really good seafood nearby. Very easy to get in and out through the Kolona Gate (Sea Gate). Would love to return and stay here again!

Lovely hotel, located in the heart of Rhodes old town. Staff were wonderful, breakfast is good value, nice and filling. Full of character inkeeping with being in the old part of town. I will recommend to friends.

Perfect Location with Local Charm

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Old Town—close to everything, yet tucked away on a quiet street so you can escape the bustle. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our late check-in effortless. Just around the corner you’ll find a supermarket and laundromat, and you’re only minutes from the famous Marco Polo restaurant. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot to relax after a day of exploring, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Don’t miss the local wine bar just a two-minute walk away—it offers excellent tastings of Greek wines and is a must-do experience during your stay.

Sofia Pension

Was in a fabulous location right in the old town. Owner organised us a taxi from the airport (would def recommend that). 15 mins walk to the ferry port. Air conditioning worked well and you can sit out on the veranda for your morning coffee. So many good bars and restaurants in the old town. Recommend Zebrano up by the castle.

Excellent little hotel in the middle of old town

This is an excellent little hotel in the middle of the old town, very convenient for everything, and in a quiet narrow street not visited by many tourists. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed and the usual facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful.

Sofia and her family have a lovely hotel that is about a 10 minute walk from the ferry and inside the walls of Old Towne. They were very hospitable! It was a little hard to find the hotel at first but google maps lead us right to it! The breakfast was amazing but double check that it’s included in what you booked. Otherwise it’s $10/euro per person per day. Well worth it - but just confirm it’s included in your reservation.

Great place to stay!!!!

We really enjoyed our time at Sofia Pension. Fantastic location, without all the noises of being near so many shops and restaurants. A grocery store is right around the corner and the rooms have great fridge/freezer! Clean rooms, AC, great talks and information from the owner/manager. Would definitely stay here again:)

Breakfast was very nice ont the terrace. Rooms were comfortable and clean and staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Sofia was not there during our stay because she was awaiting knee surgery. But Foula, her daughter, and Filippos, Foula's son, filled in seamlessly. They were so helpful and had some great suggestions. Cars are not allowed into Old Town and when we left Foula was unable to get us a golf cart to take us to the taxi meeting point outside the walls. She arranged for a taxi that had a permit to come inside the walls and then she walked with us to the taxi pickup point to make sure we got there on time. Walking around Old Town can be very confusing, even after being there for 5 days. We will stay again and had a great time!!! Thanks so much Foula and Filippos!!!!!!

The location of this hotel is amazing!! It's right in the centre of the beautiful medieval city of Rhodes. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, but this hotel is just far enough away that you're not disturbed by any noise. The property is pretty and quaint. The people who run it are lovely, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this little family run hotel.

Charming, peaceful, kindest service

This place is a gem! Location is quiet, yet in the center of old town. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful - full of flowers and plants and the rooftop terrace has amazing views over old town. And Mrs. Sofia herself and her helper is so kind and helpful in every way. Everything was well organized. We felt so wellcome and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Excellent location in the old town. The room did not have any windows at the eye level, and was quite dark, with little storage space. No information about the hotel was provided at check in, the internet service was poor, and the a/c was noisy and only worked when we were in the room, which made the room quite hot. Otherwise a good quiet hotel within walking distance to the major attractions.

Beautiful Small Boutique Hotel

The owner was a lovely and very helpful lady. We loved breakfast on the terrace and most days returned from outings and sat and read there. The accommodation was very clean and quaint. Some of the holiday makers return there because they loved it so much. If you want to stop in the old town I would recommend staying here.
