「Owners were charming. They have made the hotel so special.」

「The room [room 10, double en suite] was nothing like the pictures. First you had to lean on the door to get in cos it's too big for the frame. Then once you are in it smelled like a teenage boys room, sweat and lynx. The carpet was badly worn and peeling off the floor, the cheap divan base was broken so the mattress was either springy or wavy, didn't dare actually look at the mattress... 「It is what it is: a modest guesthouse. The room was clean, the lounge was not. There was breakfast, but it was modest. The house is quiet. The location is relatively convenient, and very near the promenade.」

「A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb!」

「Queen room, comfortable bed with views at the back of the property, no ventilation due no opening windows, dusty fun, no space to put luggages or hooks to hang clothes at the back of the main door. Small wardrobe with 5 hungers. Spacious bathroom but run down, update needed. Staff didn’t mention where to go to visit or menu/price breakfast.」
