We were looking for a cheaper option in the city. The hotel was adequate, but with the limited rooms there was no staff to support. Door “keys” are punch codes, which were not responsive, it took many attempts with the codes to get into our room each time. Easy drive to downtown tourist area.

It was like a DIY motel with no one on duty most of the day. You had to have a code to enter. I called ahead about early check in and was told it would depend on availability. However when we got there, no one was there and we couldn't use our code at the entrance until exactly 3:00. The breakfast was great.

Boa relação qualidade/preço

O hotel correspondeu às expectativas. Zona de refeições é útil por ter um micro-ondas e máquina de café. O pequeno-almoço é simples, mas suficiente. A localização a cerca de 25 minutos a pé do centro também é razoável. Tem espaço para estacionar. Os quartos são acolhedores. Só faltou receber as instruções de check-in antes de chegar. Mas liguei para o número que estava na entrada e deram-me o código de acesso e número do quarto.

ok, with small improvements could be better

There was upsides and downsides with this hotel. The walls/doors to corridor were like paper. There were these pin-code door openers that beeped when you were entering the code, you could hear those all night long from other doors. The pin code openers were bit difficult, if you entered wrong code, you had to wait for a while to enter it again, otherwise it would not work. Because there was no 24/7 reception, first night was horrible because there was some group partying all night at the hotel. Room was very humid/moist all the time, window was gathering water. Breakfast was ok. Hotel was bit in the side of the city center, which I enjoyed. Easy to park car outside. Shower was small, but the water was flowing with nice pressure and it was warm/hot quickly. Overall experience was that the hotel was good enough, it wasn't the most expensive hotel, but still more expensive than the hostels/guesthouses.

Greit for overnatting, ikke mer.

Ny oppusset, rent og greit hotell hvis du bare trenger overnattingsplass. Ingen betjening, ingen kiosk/bar eller andre fasiliteter og veldig enkel frokost. Just hotell, ingenting ekstra.

Street side parking should not be counted

Pros: The reception less check in is great. They gave me the room number and code to get in beforehand. No need to rush to check in. Breakfast staff cleaned the tables promptly. She did a great job. Selection is also good. Bathroom is clean, but with a little bit of smell. Cons: Room is kind of small. I don't have space to unfold my 28" luggage. Decoration of the room feels cheap. It has only 5 parking spaces in front of the hotel. We have to do street side parking. Iceland is a vert safe place. No concern for that. But I am worried someone could scratch my rental.

Unfortunately the room and the service is below the standards that I expected I received a room at the basement, below street level. It has only one window closer to the ceiling and an emergency exit door Room service didn’t clean my room first night.
