Wonderful location an facilities. Staff was awesome! Only downside is the let locals access the pools and take up a lt of chairs at both pools limiting access for guests that stay there.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location Near Rethymno

I stayed at Theartemis Palace for two nights during a longer trip to Crete and found it to be an excellent base for exploring Rethymno. The hotel is well-located, just a short walk from the charming old town, making it easy to enjoy the area's rich history and vibrant atmosphere. The property itself is stylish, well-maintained, and offered a high standard of comfort throughout my stay. Overall, a pleasant and convenient choice for anyone visiting this part of Crete.

Lovely hotel close to Rethymno old town (about a 15 minute walk). Staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel was very modern which we liked and the pool was a good temperature and great for when it was hot during the day. Would recommend if your planning to go to Rethymno

Wonderful hotel

The hotel is great 👍! The food (breakfast and dinner) was rich and tasty. The location is wonderful, pool are very nice but there no enough seats there. The towels are located in strange place that take few minutes to walk.

Wonderful, modern hotel. Friendly staff, got a room upgrade which was greatly appreciated. The buffet was also great with loads of choices and couldn't fault. Facilities were everything I needed. Pool (which looks beautiful at night like a star lit sky), gym, spa, comfortable seating throughout the hotel, great balcony overlooking the pool, close to the beach and about a 20 minute walk to the old town

Beautiful high rise hotel with a pool and option for all inclusive package. Poolside drinks and snacks are offered as well as a live duet in the evening poolside. Buffet dinner at a reasonable price in the evening is offered if you don’t choose the all inclusive option. Parking is a challenge but you can pay extra to park your car in their lot.

Nice place that's very close to the water

We stayed here for about 4 nights and everything went well. There are two sections of the palace...one where the hotel reception is connected to and the other is a stand along building across the street. We've read online that one of the sections was the "newer" renovated one and I think that was the section with the hotel reception. We stayed in other section across the street and it was fine. It doesn't look so outdated that you can tell/feel it's vastly different. Every night, there is some type of special music or performance by the pool. That was a nice touch and appreciated. Everyone is very friendly as well. We opted for the daily parking of 8 euros and that came in pretty handy. There can be street parking but it is limited and you will have to drive around the side streets for one.

The hotel is a bit outdated. Nice location, walkable to old city. Staff is friendly. Check in process is annoying. You need to fill up the information when you already have it on the reservation. If you want to use safe, you have to pay for it. Pool has a nice size, decent breakfast food. In order to get beach towel, you need to walk to the spa to get it and then return it, otherwise you will be charged 20 euro per towel.

Lovely spacious hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in the building across the road from the main hotel. Rooms were big with a balcony and the shower was very good. The air con was good. There was no corridor noise or from the road. Staff were super friendly at all times. The hotel had a gym which I wanted to use but found some of the equipment not usable posing some safety issues-.the rower foot straps are broken and the treadmill foot covering is warped. Also it is not supervised so children were in there messing around on the equipment lots of days. We had a lovely stay, breakfast was good- lots of choice. It was about a 20 minute walk into the old town along the beach road. The beach is only 5 mins away and is lovely. Plenty of good restaurants a few mins walk away

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Booked the maisonette for a family of 4 which was perfect. Rooms were good size, breakfast buffet had a great selection, pools were nice. Gym could be improved as well as an omelet station at breakfast! Overall great value and convenient location-10-15 min walk to Old Town. Beach just down the street on from of he property. Would recommend!
