A gem in Rethymno

A fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel in the old town. The staff was amazing - friendly and so helpful. The beds were super comfortable and the pool and roof terrace are an extra bonus. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed for a week and were made very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and the air-conditioning efficient, keeping the room cool. Staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Nikki who always made us feel that all guests are important and special.

Staff are friendly and informative. Breakfast was nice. Location is great. Free parking is a big plus. AC worked sporadically. Rooms had a slight odor.

Well positioned hotel

Hotel in a lovely position right near the castle and old town, great for exploring and loads of restaurants nearby. The "suite" was a little underwhelming - just a small extra room with a mini-kitchen, table and single bed all wedged in. Breakfast had a good variety and the public areas were clean and quiet, but could have done with something to give some shade for the roof terrace.

The hotel is located on the edge of old town, by the bay and next to the Venetian Fortress. It has a convenient parking onsite which is a big plus for a hotel located in old town Rethymno. The room is clean and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal for exploring old town and surrounding area. Rethymno Beach is on 15 minutes walk away. Dining options in old town is endless.

Personnel très sympathique et à l’écoute, de plus on y parle français. Nous avions la chambre « Suite » très confortable et spacieuse avec un coin cuisine et salon. L’hôtel est très proche de la ville, ce qui est appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est diversifié et peut se prendre à l’extérieur. Il y’a un parking face à l’hôtel, on vous remet un bip pou aller et venir. Pour nous, c’est un hôtel à recommander sans hésitation

Adonis was a gracious host, and we especially enjoyed talkig with Nikki, who was part of the staff. Our apartment was spacious, and had a nice balcony with a nice city view that also looked out on the Fortezza. Adonis oriented us to the neighborhood with suggestions and a map. We had kitchen facilities that were very convenient and our bed and air conditioning made our sleep very comfortable. We were even able to easily extend our stay on short notice. We definitely recommend Palazzo Vecchio!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. However, the room floor was dirty and not swept prior to arrival. Window was left open prior to arrival and we had numerous flying bugs in the room. Given it is an old property the amenities, specifically in the bathroom, were lacking. High step in tub, narrow and difficult to shower in. I regret not being able to recommend this hotel.

Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Altes Bad mit dusche in der Badewanne. Etwas dunkel. Rezeption nur sehr selten besetzt. Frühstück war überschaubar aber ok. Nur Filterkaffee oder Kapselmaschine. Das schlechteste waren die fast gar nucht schalldedämmten Fenster zur Strasse hin. Die vorbeifahrenden Fahrzeuge (über Kopfsteinpflaster) konnte man bis spät in den abend hinein hören. Sehr gut der eigene mit Schranke abgesperrte Parkplatz (kostenfrei). Die lage war auch sehr gut. Sehr nah zur Altstadt und zum Hafen hin.

Bel hôtel de charme très bien tenu et calme.

Bel établissement avec un personnel très attentif et de très bon conseil. Petite piscine bien agréable pour se rafraîchir après la journée. Un petit loupé: chambre non faite un jour réparé par l’offre d’une bouteille de vin. Très calme mais proche des quartiers animés.

Fantastisk opphold, så utrolig hyggelig betjening som hjelper deg med hva som helst og er veldig opptatte av at du skal ha det best mulig til alle døgnets tider! Super koselig bakgård med nydelig lite basseng. Veldig fint beliggenhet i gamlebyen, men litt på utkanten så det er stille og rolig. Privat parkeringsplass med port. Frokosten er også veldig god, med fersk juice, mange forskjellige typer bakevarer, frukt, egg osv. Kommer definitivt til å dra tilbake!

Très bel hôtel

Très bon accueil. La réceptionniste est là pour vous donner de bons conseils sur ce qu’on peut voir et visiter. Super petit déjeuner. Nous avons été déçu par le ménage fait dans la chambre. Lit mal refait, oubli de remettre des serviettes, les produits de toilettes n’ont pas été remplacés et un avait été déjà utilisé et ré rempli avec de l’eau. Nous sommes restés 4 jours et les draps n’ont pas été changés alors que dans un autre hôtel cela avait été fait pour la même durée. Sinon l’hôtel est très joli et idéalement situé.

Tout est parfait. L'accueil personnalisé. Le grand parking privé. Un super petit déjeuner avec des produits maison. Propreté, confort de la chambre, la bonne pression de la douche et aucun problème d'eau chaude. Quartier calme. Et l'on peut aller visiter le vieux Rethymno à pied et un très grand choix de restaurants à quelques minutes de l’hôtel. Un coup de coeur pour cet hôtel. Merci à l'équipe.

Bonne expérience au Palazzo Vecchio. On a l’impression d’être accueilli dans la famille: c’est chaleureux mais le décor est un peu vieillot. Les maisonnettes sont très spacieuses et comfortables. Un internet plus puissant serait le bienvenu. Bon petit déjeuner
