Highly recommend this hotel!!! The rooms are individually decorated and beautiful. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and they were among the best meals of our whole vacation! Service was also excellent!

We loved Avli Lounge! The hosts were so helpful and kind and the breakfast was extraordinary. We ate by ourselves in a sun-filled courtyard with blooming orange trees and flowers and the food was delicious and very generous. The room was extremely comfortable. We would definitely come back!

Stayed in the junior suite with jacuzzi bath. Beautiful room. All staff in hotel and restaurant where we were served a great breakfast are friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, near the fountain and harbour. Keep looking around as everywhere throughout the building is a feast for the eyes. Highly recommend

This stay was so charming. The room we stayed in was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. It's conveniently located to shops and restaurants in old town. Unique and magical place. The set up in old town is beautiful. The apartments are very comfortable and charmingly decorated. Great breakfast. Diner at Avli restaurant was quite an experience. Service is top notch everywhere in the hotel. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay! Highly recommend

Our entire experience from check in to check out was 5*! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed here for part of our honeymoon trip to crete and they went above and beyond to make this a special stay for us. From a room upgrade, to a gift bag with local treats to offering us late check out. The breakfast included in our stay was fantastic! Really got a taste for the cretan cuisine. Their resturants served delicious food with an authentic vibe. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We can not speak highly enough about our experience with the Avli fine dining restaurant, our two meals dinner and breakfast were sublime, with incredible food and wonderful waitstaff. If only the Avli Lounge Suites offered the same elevated experience, the rooms are tired and need an update. We do applaud the hotel's arrangement with parking, that process was seamless.

My girlfriend and I stayed three nights at Avli in late October of 2023. I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Our suite was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful private terrace which overlooked the charming cobblestone streets of Rethymno. There are two restaurants just below our suite (Avli and Raki Baraki) which offer some of the best food in a town known for its cuisine. Every single staff member, from the concierge to the restaurant servers, was extremely friendly and helpful. If we ever have the opportunity to visit Rethymno in the future, we will definitely make this our home base!
