Schöne, kleine Unterkunft an einem einsam gelegenen Strand. Ich hatte mir ein bisschen mehr erhofft in punkto Luxus, weil es als Ressort ausgewiesen war. Es ist aber eher ein Guesthouse. Große Baustelle nebenan, die Lärm macht.

Resort is on very quiet beach, with minimum other resorts around, which is great if you want to switch off and relax! You will forget what day it is and that was what we were Looking for. Specious rooms with huge balconies, pool with view to ocean, bar and great breakfasts.

Amazing stay!

Really nice hotel located at a quiet, empty, beautiful beach! We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony with sea view which was wonderful, we could sit there for hours watching the waves and the ocean. Great restaurant and very friendly and service minded staff. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great stay, everyone friendly. Visited local restaurants but found hotel restaurant best. Hatching turtles very nearby. Clean modern , nice pool , on the beach

+hervorragendes, großes Frühstück a la Carte (keine Wünsche offen) +schöne Anlage +sehr große, saubere, schöne Zimmer +Strand menschenleer und weitläufig +tolles Management: Alexander war super hilfsbereit, wir konnten Fahrräder ausleihen und er hat uns auch geholfen einen Roller auszuleihen. Er hat uns sogar nachts geholfen als wir abends einen Platten hatten(Rücktransport mit Tuktuk, und auch Abholung des Rollers), bei der Reparatur wurden wir auch nicht abgezockt. Ganz großes Kompliment. -Strand ist eher nicht zum schwimmen da starke Wellen und Strömung -Unterkunft leider etwas abseits. Es ist nicht viel in der Umgebung, „Strasse auch nicht die Beste“. Keine anderen tollen Essensmöglichkeiten. (Mit dem Rad kann man zu einem schwimm- Strand fahren, der jedoch nicht so einladend ist. Mit dem Roller nach Tangalle sinds 15-20min, wo weitere schöne (teilweise schwimmbare) Strände sind und Essensmöglichkeiten(Verkehr durchaus machbar) Also für Ruhesuchende perfekt. -Service im Restaurant und Auswahl beim Abendessen eher ok als gut(Service sehr schwankend: manche sehr freundlich, manche wirken leider lustlos)

A Sri Lankan gem at the end of the world

Spacious room, beachfront property, very good cuisine, excellent service, extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff, very quiet, end-of-the-world experience but not far from bigger towns. You can relax and you probably won't want to go anywhere else for dinner. There is a nice pool. Swimming in the sea is a project that tends to be risky and unpopular. The owner has very good tips for visiting nearby rocks and temples, including how not to miss a gorgeous sunset.

Great spot on the beach but unfortunately there are sandflies. Our room was ok but not great value. Pretty much the same as any homestay but 3 times the price!! I find it too pricey...

Amazing crashing waves! I love the beach!

This place is definitely a place for relaxation. The beach is in pristine conditions. I love the long stretch of sandy beach which spans more than 1 km. The staffs are friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful resort but limited dining.

The room was pretty great, a huge bed with amazing jungle/sea views. Our only complaint there would be the the shower pressure but it wasn’t all too bad either. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly! Our main problem was with the outdoor dining area which while stunning, meant eating/fighting off flies... not the best experience ever. Perhaps some fans and more incense etc. would not go amiss. Also as a vegetarian I didn’t find the menu incredibly varied.

Schöner Strand, gefälliges Resort

Schönes Zimmer, toller Blick vom Balkon, 1a Zimmerservice, Restaurant durchwachsen, Frühstück top, ebenso das Eiersandwich, Abendgerichte haben uns aber eher nicht so geschmeckt. Pool leider mit nicht so toller Wasserqualität. Zufahrtstraße ist eine Katastrophe, da fragt man sich, warum nicht jedes Hotel vor seinem Grundstück die Schlaglöcher mit Schotter füllen kann. Das nimmt einem viel Lust, Ausflüge per Auto/Tuktuk zu unternehmen.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Goede en vriendelijke service. Heerlijk ontbijt en de kaart van dinner was ook prima. Lekker zwembad. Zee was helaas te ruw om in te zwemmen.

Great hotel but far from the city

If you do not mind being far from stores and restaurant, the place is great. The food is tasty, the mini-villas are clean and beautiful and next to the beach. I recommend to people looking for a good rest in a beautiful setting.

Blissful!

Amazing hotel, nice and quiet hotel, amazing food, great staff and great location!!! The hotel is located on the beach, you can walk miles and only spot a few tourists. The beach is stunning. The hotel management were especially helpful, would recommend this hotel!

Perfect

Room, beach, pool, food were amazing. But the service was totally outstanding! My girlfriend broke an arm at the beach and management gave us all help we needed even after leaving 7 turtles. I fully recommend this hotel.
