"Not only is this hotel insanely noisy, it is dirty and rundown. Our room had a mysterious white stain on one of the bed frames that looked suspiciously like body fluid, there was water damage on the ceiling that had just been painted over, the toilet was not fixed to the bathroom floor and slid around, and there were mystery holes in the wall. Also, the door did not close properly, and there was a light coming from around the entire door. We ended up propping the iron board up against the door and jamming a coat hanger in the handle to feel a semblance of safety. The hotel lobby and elevator reeked of cigarette smoke and the elevator had no security so anyone can access the entire building. There is construction all around the hotel, so to get to the nearest bus stop, you have to walk uphill through various construction zones. We booked a stay here for five nights and ended up leaving after the first night to find another hotel. When I told the man at the reception desk that we would be checking out early he did not ask why or offer any sort of compensation. He acted like this was a normal occurrence for this hotel. I do not recommend staying here. The location is terrible and the hotel feels incredibly unsafe and dirty. "

"We stayed in a bunk pod. The room was great! My teenage son loved the top bunk. It’s very small but all you need for resting at the end of the day and sleeping. Very close to public transportation and Times Square. I felt very safe in the area around as there were always people around, but the room was quiet and we didn’t hear outside noise. My only complaint… not having a coffee maker in my room. "

"There's plenty to do/see in the nearby area of 42nd Street. Thats a big plus!! The hotel's downstairs interior is absolutely gorgeous. However, I experienced having a room with a very large water bug (roach) which scared the bejeezus out of me once I discovered it. God knows how long it was there visiting with me lol. There was also a problem with the rooms temperature. Other guest had the same issue in regard to their room temperature. I was immediately changed to another room for my issues. Although, the new room had no bugs, it did in fact have water damage throughout. Which was an eye sore lol when in the room. My motto, spend only 4.5hrs in your hotel room once awake... sleep, wash, dress, snack, photo op, then leave. Outside of the room issues, the hotel staff was pleasant. The night life in NYC is always fire!! You can't go wrong. Enjoy everyone!!"

"Great central location, staff was friendly, they give you free water vouchers, charge a destination fee of $35 a day but they give you $35 credit for this a day, cleaning people were available if needed, easy check out, rooms were quiet. "

"YES ! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I AM VERY PLEASED FOR THE SHUTTLE THAT TOOK US BACK AND FORTH TO AND FROM THE TRAIN STATION REALLY APPRECIATE IT, ROOM IS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE HOUSE KEEPERS ARE VERY FRIENDLY 🙏🙏🙏"
