「Everything was excellent. The property has been updated and we felt very safe at all times. The breakfast was typical for a free continental breakfast, but in a world where everyone offers less and less, this was a nice amenity. 」

「I would avoid staying here if possible. It is not what it looks like on their pictures. As a solo female traveler, I was super uneasy pulling up and seeing half of the hotel is motel style. Thankfully, I was in the tower side but the walk from the parking lot to the hotel make me nervous. The AC and hot water worked great, but the room felt very dirty. There was so much hair everywhere. I found hair in my sheets, on the pillow (and stains), on the towels, and so much in the bathroom. The shower...

「The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!」

「So… black mold in the bathroom like A LOT! Saw a few roach friends. You can see through the wall where the a/c unit had sagged and left a huge gap. Burns on toilet seat and burn holes all over the black out curtain. It looks like a sky full of stars. We were there for a music festival so we were so tired by 1am when we got home we could’ve slept anywhere. The only high spot was the bed. Very comfortable but the sheets were not bleached so they appeared dirty because of staining. I think the...
