「The rooms are clean and tidy. Unfortunately we have to share the toilet and bath which was very irritated because it was outside the cabins. My friend who is 72 years old and has to go to toilet at night time which is very inconvenient to her.」

Our room, the James Cook Apartment, was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, and the grounds are simply stunning. The location is perfect, with an easy 15-minute walk to the main street. 「We really enjoyed our stay at Escape to Picton. The welcome glass of wine and cheese was a lovely touch, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The room was spotless and very comfortable, the bathtub was a highlight, breakfast was very good, and the location was ideal. Would happily stay again.」

「Crisp white linens and towels, large rooms (2 bedroom, queen & two twins) living space and bath, great shower pressure, comfortable beds, pillows were a little thin, but serviceable. The motel accommodated a midnight arrival, no issues with getting access to our room. Staff friendly and helpful. 」

「Although the reception is not opened for 24 hours, the duty staffs were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the ferry terminal, it is still OK because Picton is safe even we needed to walk in the darkness between the terminal and the hotel. In addition, two supermarkets are not far away. I will choose this hotel again if I come back especially the room rate is reasonable. 」
