Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. 」

「John is a great host. He gave us several recommendations that worked out great! Our room had a view of the ocean. In my opinion you can’t get better than that. The location was fantastic for touring the area. We stayed 3 nights. 」

「This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Though we met kind strangers and viewed indescribable beauty in our travels around Ireland, the isolated, quiet and luxury of the Connemara Sands was a balm for our souls and a treat to the senses. The menu was thoughtful and the food first class; the accommodations were roomy and tasteful with views of the Connemara landscape and sheep roaming cliffside. 「Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

「This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. Our host, Sue, was super-friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great, several options, all good. So, a perfect 5 of 5! 」
