A fairly tale village. It’s right on the path to the national park, which is only minutes away. Great hiking, great scenery, very nice people. A spectacular spa. This place has a very welcoming/calming atmosphere. It was better than we expected, it was absolutely beautiful. We had a balcony with a view of the little village and it was truly magical. Definitely would book again.

Het Hotel Amselgrundschlößchen was prima gelegen in het prachtige Rathen. De wandelingen rondom het hotel zijn fantastisch. Het hotel heeft erg uitgebreide faciliteiten en zeer vriendelijke personeel. Het menu geeft de mogelijkheid om de lokale specialiteiten uit te proberen. We hebben genoten!

Fremragende ophold

Hotellet er godt placeret - tæt på stier til vandreruter. Fin mulighed for parkering. Maden på restauranten var lækker og morgenbuffeten var helt forrygende og havde er stort udvalg. Personalet er travlt og veksler mellem restaurant og reception afhængigt af tidspunktet, men altid søde og hjælpsomme når man først finder dem 😉 Værelset var fint og meget stort - fint rent.

Die Unterkunft lag günstig gelegen direkt am Fuße der Bastei. Leider musste man relativ lange warten bis die Rezeption zum Check-In besetzt war oder aber man geht durch das Hotel in der Suche nach einem Verantwortlichen. Ähnlich gestaltete sich auch die Bedienung an der Hotelbar, die viele Male ohne ein Wort zu verlieren an uns vorbei ging. Auch hier kann man darüber hinweg sehen wenn man selbstständig auf das Personal zugeht. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Leider scheint das Zeitfenster für das Frühstück etwas knapp bemessen zu sein, da man bei Ankunft im Speisesaal einen Platz zugewiesen bekommen musste wegen der recht hohen Auslastung. Ansonsten waren die Zimmer so ausgestattet wie man es erwarten würde-WLAN, Fernseher mit Kabelempfang (kein Smart-TV, aber man ist ja auch nicht zum Fernsehen dort), Dusche, Föhn. Leider waren an den Fenstern zum Balkon keine Fliegengitter angebracht, was in den Nächten etwas lästig war. Das Hotel ist eine klare Empfehlung, 8/10!

Das Hotel hat eine zentrale Lage. Von dort sind verschiedene schöne Wanderrouten möglich. Ein Plus mit Stern für die Saunalandschaft. Frühstücksbuffet vielseitig. Speisekarte ist o.k. Gastronomiepreise teuer (wie überall ) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Hotel mitten in Rathen. Die Bastei ist von dort zu Fuß errreichbar. Speisen und Personal ausgezeichnet. Einzig die Ausstattung des Zimmers war doch sehr altbacken.

Wir waren als Familie (Mutter, Vater, Kind) mit unseren zwei Hunden im Hotel. Was sofort herausstach war die Tierfreundliche Art und allgemein all die freundlichen Mitarbeiter . Der Eingangbereich mit Restaurant waren sehr schön und einladend. Mit Fahrstuhl hoch in die Zimmer- diese waren zwar etwas uriger eingerichtet, jedoch sehr sauber und nicht verwohnt. Frühstück war top und auch das Essen im Restaurant können wir sehr empfehlen. Schön, dass es einen Parkplatz gibt & die Lage ist top 👍

Das Zimmer roch etwas muffig. Auch durch lüften haben wir diesen dezenten Geruch nicht weg bekommen. Was ich gut fand, war der Wellnes-/Saunabereich. Leider nur zwischen 14 und 19 Uhr nutzbar. Dafür 2 Saunen, eine Dampfsauna, diverse Liege und Duschmöglichkeiten. Die Einrichtung auf den Zimmern und im Restaurant scheint lieblos zusammengestellt, ist dafür bequem und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Das Personal ist einem gefühlt aus dem Weg gegangen. Nachfragen ob man noch was möchte hat (bei geringer Belegung und Auslastung) oft sehr lange gedauert. Am letzten Abend (ein Sonntag) um 21:00 bat man uns das letzte Bier auf unserem Zimmer zu trinken, da nun alle Feierabend machen und die Bar geschlossen ist. (Sonst geht es bis 23:00 Uhr) Und das bei 5,90€ (!!!) für einen halben Liter Radeberger. Die Umgebung und Landschaft sind natürlich zu empfehlen. Jedoch werden wir dieses Hotel nicht mehr aufsuchen, da Preis und Leistung für uns nicht vereinbar ist.
