The Cooks Oasis in not a resort so don't expect that. It is in a great location close to everything Sunsets amazing and we saw a whale from the lagoon ,such a bonus. Value for money I would stay there again We really enjoyed our time there. Xx

Staying with Jane and her staff at Cook’s Oasis was a treat. There were convenient food options on either side, a liquor store across the street, and a store in a short distance. Compared to many parts of the island, this is a really central place to be if you are or aren’t renting a car. I was on foot and it was ideal. I’m also a solo female traveler, and Cook’s Oasis was a safe, and friendly place to be. Staying here means supporting a local family rather than a big company, and the folks are really lovely!

Great location with Black Rock beach 50 metres away. Clean rooms, free wifi is excellent and plunge pool onsite. Parking is free. Perfect spot for our 9 day stay. Highly recommend

Cooks Oasis is awesome. Marianne and her team are lovely and so helpful. The accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable and just lovely. The beach is a one minute walk. E-bikes are nearby. Restaurants are nearby. Just a wonderful peaceful place to stay

It’s always a pleasure staying here. This trip I was in Villa 4. It was great. I’ll request that one in the future being able to self cater is such a plus. Bed is comfy. Everything is clean and quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cooks Oasis! Although the resort is a bit difficult to find, due to signage at the street having been removed, we loved the location. We checked in on a Sunday which meant the staff was not working. No problem, they got the room ready and left us a note on their reader board as to how to access our Villa. This resort is not on the beach, but the walk down the shared driveway is very short and the beach is amazing. If you feel like doing a longer walk, it is only about 8 or 9 minute walk down the beach to Black Rock. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Rarotonga. Our favorite local hangout was around a five or 6 minute drive from Cooks Oasis. If you have the chance visit the "Shipwreck Hut" beach bar. Good food and drinks. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. The view from the bar area is spectacular.

This property is comfortable with all the amenities you need. It’s a short step to the beach and is right on the main road which makes catching the bus easy. It is safe and secure and the staff are super welcoming and helpful. It’s the reason I keep going back.

For the price range this is an excellent place to stay. Room was very clean and tidy. Beach access is easy to a nice beach. Swimming pool is excellent and very well maintained. Location is good, very close to Black Rock which is one of the best swimming spots and has food trucks with great burgers and the best coffee we had in Rarotonga. Cooks Oasis is also very handy to the airport and town. Property is set back from the road so it is nice and quiet. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were amazing and went the extra mile to ensure things were easy for us with our little one. We stayed at other places within the same price bracket and found this to be better. A great place to stay, highly recommended.

Staff are really lovely. They give good directions to find down side street. Internet and aircon struggled through heat but just needed a bit of time. Beautiful bakery 100m and basically on the beach.

Jayne and her daughter in law were very approachable and helpful. We had an issue with a new build directly behind our unit with the builders banging at 7.45am. We asked about it and they talked to builders and asked if they could delay morning start until 9am which they did. We had a problem with Ants in the kitchen. They got into muesli and other food, so keep everything in containers or fridge. We even tried microwave, but got in there too. The bed was very comfortable and large. We did ask for new towels after day 5 of 9 as they hadn’t been replaced. It wasn’t a problem though. We used the BBQ which worked well. One hot plate Didnt work and the other one took ages to heat. Only used it once so wasnt a problem. Beach a short walk away and great for sunsets as sun goes down right there. Overall was an ok stay, just the builders ruined the first half of it. (Not oasis problem).
