We had a great stay at hotel skoga! We stayed here while doing a south coast adventure and it was well worth it. This area is stunning and is a short walk to the waterfall. I would definitely recommend this place! The breakfast was also yummy and a good way to start our morning.

The room and bathroom are clean. Breakfast is good. Message Communication with the hotel staff is efficient although there is no front desk at the hotel. The waterfall near by is beautiful.

The breakfast was a mix of food unique to Iceland and also common enough for the picky eater. We loved it! The vibe was so different from American hotels which was also why we loved it so much. This was the classic cozy, peaceful experience we needed :)) I recommend this place!

Excellent location, clean rooms and very good breakfast. Our room and bathroom were a bit small but we made it work. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for two nights.

Hotel sans personnel. Chambres exiguës et surtout assez sonores. Ma tête de lit était probablement séparées par du placo avec le voisin. Petit déjeuner minimaliste. Faute de trouver un hotel libre dans la zone il fait le job

The property was just OK. Good for a short one night stop. The shower/ bathroom water smelled very strong of sulfur so that was unpleasant. The breakfast spread was good. It’s self check in so you are sort of on your own if you have questions. It was misleading to say the hotel dinner restaurant had waterfall views because that’s actually at the sister property not this property so you have to walk or drive over there for dinner. I would recommend this only as a short budget hotel stay option.

The water was very sulfuric, unpalatable to drink. We had to buy bottled drinking water. I thought the breakfast was fine, but my traveling companion said the eggs were inedible. We both agreed the bacon was very good.

Check in at 3:30pm is kinda late. Room and view was awesome. Breakfast can be much better. Little cold in room. Heater did not keep up. Did not bother staff about it. Water fall view from bed is beautiful. Did not really interact with any staff since self check in. Overall, I was pretty happy with the stay.

It was self check in hotel with very clean instructions. The room had everything we needed and it was very comfortable and clean. The sister hotel has restaurant with amazing view of the nearby waterfall and delicious food. The hotel was at great location. The only downside was that the sauna wasn’t working , but regardless of that I would stay there again.
