San Francisco is one of the most photographed Spanish Colonial churches in the USA. It has twin bell towers, an arched portal entrance overlooking an enclosed courtyard, two large carved and painted reredos (alter screens with painted panels), hand-hewn vigas (ceiling beams( that rest on hand-carved corbels, and unique architectural buttresses.
Neat art to be found at the Plaza Gallery in Taos.

Kind of in the middle of nowhere but worth a quick stop.

The red and green flashing LED light in the room was very annoying. Not sure of its purpose. Also, it was impossible to see the dark keypad for entering the room at the end of the corridor at night. You had to guess where the first number might be.
