"The staff was wonderful! Suites were spacious....we did have trouble with phone/internet reception at times...it is a huge property and the map was confusing and there's absolutely nothing to do around the property. Everything is like 20 minutes away....vut"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasant Inn — Pleasantly Surprised!
I stayed at the Pleasant Inn, and let me tell you, it was a pleasant experience! 😂
The rooms were clean, the parking lot was cleaner than some people's living rooms, and the place was so quiet I almost checked to make sure I hadn't accidentally booked a room in a monastery!
The place has been renovated, and it shows. Everything looked fresh and well-kept, and the shower actually worked like a shower instead of a sad little garden sprinkler. 🚿藍
The bed was comfortable, the surroundings were peaceful, and I didn't have to dodge mystery stains or wonder what happened in the room before I arrived. That's always a bonus!
All joking aside, the Pleasant Inn was clean, quiet, updated, and comfortable. Sometimes you don't need a five-star palace with a butler named Winston. You just need a nice place to sleep, a good shower, and a little peace and quiet.
I'd definitely stay here again. They lived up to their name — it really was a pleasant stay! 👍😎"
"The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was most helpful. The furniture was clean and comfortable. With San Diego traffic in and out is somewhat of a challenge, what with no close food service but there are delivery places.😊"
"The location of this hotel is excellent. We had a wedding to attend downtown San Diego and could not have found a better location or price. The parking is also a huge bonus as parking downtown San Diego, whether staying in a hotel or just driving into downtown to park for a few hours, is extremely expensive. The hotel is very convenient to nearby eating options, located just on the other side of the freeway, just a few minutes away. The only thing we would have changed would have been to request an upstairs room. The walls are thin and the person above us was walking to who-knows-where. A ton of walking and footsteps for a hotel room, that's for sure, for an extended period of time. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again if we need a place to stay in San Diego."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, CA
8/10 Good
"This hotel fit the bill for us perfectly. Unfortunately the property was not as clean as I would have liked. Our room, the carpet was dirty as was the furniture. Also the elevators were very dirty, I guess construction crews had been through. I'd stay again if the price is right."
