Broken door frame in the room. Broken chair at the desk in the room. Broken treadmill in the tiny fitness room with only two other machines. Smelled like 20 year old funk in the halls. The elevator smelled worse. We paid for three nights and left after the first night. This place is way past its prime.

This is a hard review to write because the staff was friendly and professional and you could tell they really try to keep things clean. The unfortunate fact though is that this is a tired, run-down hotel. the carpets are worn, there is a musty smell throughout, and, while the rooms are pretty clean, they are also well-used and aged. I booked this hotel because it was so close to Duke Neurology, the reviews were good, and the pictures looked great. The pictures are obviously very, very old. Our stay was fine, but I would not stay at Millenium again.
