I came to North Carolina to help a friend move, and we stayed here because she moved early away from her ex. The first thing we experienced was the hotel guests, a lot of them live in this hotel. The lady at the desk was super nice and friendly and that’s where the two star comes from. When we got to the room that we booked, there were people in the room still and my friend had the unfortunate experience by seeing a woman’s butt. We went down to the front desk and explained there were people still in there, she gave us the last room available and it was one king bed with a pull out couch. So we had no choice but to deal with it. The carpet had stains, there is a leather recliner that is in the room is need of replacing, there was still chunks of food in the sink in the kitchen area. To finish it off, their “breakfast” is just coffee and your choice of one muffin, nutrigrain bar or a granola bar. Those are your breakfast options. For a non smoking hotel, there are definitely smokers in the rooms. 2/5 stars, there is a bunch of hotels around the area that looked much nicer to stay at than this place. If you’re on a budget, sure, but this should be a last resort stay.
