We had a lovely stay, everything we needed was on site and it was only a short drive to Plitvice Lakes. The host gave good recommendations for restuarants close by and the pool was nice to come back to after a day hiking.

From the great advice on the best way to visit the park to the clean, spacious room and on-site dinner, Tourist Center Marko was a great choice. This hotel was really cute & nice for our stay while visiting the Plitvice national parks. The front desk was super helpful in checking us in and giving us information about the parks, including the best time to start the day based on the season to avoid crowds. The room was super spacious and nice. It is also close to plenty of restaurants.

Lovely stay as a family

Lovely stay in marko center Perfect for family; the room size was big enough for two adults and two children. The bathroom could be refreshed/ modernized but it was perfectly clean ! The personnel was very kind and helpful.

Great spot

Great base for a visit to the Plitvice Lakes. The rooms in Villa Dora were comfortable and beautifully clean. The restaurant next door served good food. Would have liked to stay longer!

Great accommodation near Plitvice Lakes

Enjoyed my 2-night stay in Tourist Center Marko. The staff is very friendly and helpful, for instance gave me excellent tips on how to explore Plitvice Lakes. Nice rooms with AC and pool area was a nice added bonus for hot days. There is a restaurant downhill from the accommodation, but I would rather recommend other restaurants around the area as the one nearest was not that good.

Lovely helpful owner, clean and comfortable, good air conditioner, nice big shower with good water pressure, fridge in the room, pool and activity centre for kids, 15 min drive from Plitvice National Park, 7 min drive to supermarket with cash mashing. Property and restaurant takes card payment. All great and convenient for us. The food in the restaurant is super good.

The room was large, modern, clean and the beds very comfortable. There was no kettle for making hot drinks which nowadays would normally be provided and would have made the stay more enjoyable. Reception lady was very nice, friendly and helpful. A big issue that impacted on our stay was interruption of power supply which continued throughout the 4 days of our holiday. This meant sitting in the dark, trying to go in the bathroom in the dark, no aircon, no wifi. We could've paid much less and gone camping instead!

My husband and I stayed at the Tourist Center Marko for 3 nights to visit Plitvice Lakes (only 15 mins drive from here). We drove from Zagreb airport and arrived at night so couldn't easily find where reception was, however this was obvious in the day as it is the main building between the restaurant and Villa Dora. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful man who talked us through all the attractions in the area and showed us to our room. Great customer service! The room itself was large, modern and clean. We utilized the badminton court (where we got rackets from reception) and lounged by the pool during our stay here. It is a well kept property with nice views. We didn't try the restaurant but were told it served traditional Croatian grilled foods. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!
