Montrose Valley Lodge

"Breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice. I liked that they had an ice machine and large bags to put ice in for our cooler. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had an extra large TV. The heated outdoor pool was nice. Great restaurant right next door too - Jimmers BBQ. Would stay there again."

"Beds were great. Motel is older and room was dated. The bathroom door had a loose hinge and lamps needed bulbs replaced...the manager was friendly, parking was spacious, the AC worked. There was an ice machine and a guest laundry, although that room could use a good cleaning."

"We just had a one night stay in Montrose at Motel. It was easy to find an easy to access. All of the rooms are quite small. They were certainly well maintained and spotlessly clean. Paragraph breakfast is exactly what it says. It was to give us enjoyed our stay at the main car in Montrose."

"We have been staying at this location for the last 18 years, and it recently changed hands. They have done some nice upgrades but it's a work in progress. The lower scores in some areas were offset by the reasonable cost....and the fact that the A/C was great on a very hot night!"

"The room was terrific, and the lady at the desk was very nice. The property is really rundown and it is too bad, because it has the potential to be a real nice place. The swimming pool was closed, the roof was in total disrepair. And they had no Wi-Fi. That is unheard of in this day and time. And the breakfast is a joke. The owners need to invest in the property again and it would be a very, very nice place."
