「Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff good atmosphere in the bar. Food was good. Great aera for exploring.
Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression.
Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money.」

「What an absolute gem. Situated in a quiet quaint village Wayside is the perfect getaway. My room was clean and spacious with views out onto beautiful countryside. Lovely courtyard at the entrance with seating area. Continental breakfast wanted for nothing with fresh refrigerated milk, yoghurts, orange juice, cheese grapes etc. Lovely fresh bread, toaster, kettle and all you need to use. Shower room compact and spotless. I would definitely recommend」

「The staff were all polite and helpful, although some seemed a little inexperienced.
We ate in the restaurant one night, the food was well presented, but the pork belly was over cooked and the chips were over salted.
We also asked for the coffee tray to be cleaned & refreshed. Someone had come in, left a large bag of tea/coffee sachets in the room, but not cleaned the cups & tray - I assume they got distracted & didn't finish the job.」
