Excellent staff, very unique property with the view of the Quito Historic Center. Good access to public transportation. Close to parks and central neighborhoods. Staff are patient and attentive. I would stay here again. Nice stay.

We stayed here for 10 nights. Our room was clean, the shower was hot, the breakfast that was included was good (scrambled eggs, warm bun with cheese, fresh juice and instant coffee), the views while eating breakfast on the room top patio were amazing and it was less than 15 minute walk to the Old Town.

La Terraza is one of the best economical hostals in the La Alameda area of Quito. The staff goes the extra mile to assist you in any way, and begins to cook your breakfast the moment they see you in the dining room in the morning. The only drawback to this property is that you must climb UP, UP, and UP 172 stairs from Parque La Alameda to arrive at the hostal, unless you take a taxi. The hot water is very hot, and the beds are super comfortable. Definitely I will be a repeat customer.

La terraza was a great spot for our family of four with amazing views and close to the very cool Ichimbia park and a 15-20 minute walk to the central plaza. The staff was very attentive and helpful!

Great location, very close to the historic district and most of the major attractions. The staff was very accommodating and communicating in English was never a problem. Very quiet nights, and plenty of very hot water. The view from the terrace makes it very clear how this hostel got its name. I highly recommend this facility, and I plan to return here later this year.

Nos hicieron saber el día que llegamos que tenían construcción en el lugar y que a las 8:00am estarían haciendo mucho ruido. Las alfombras súper sucias el area en general demasiado descuidada la habitación para 4 camas súper reducida al alquilar decía que la propiedad completa estaría a nuestra disponibilidad tuvimos que rentar por 3 noches aparte en otro lugar ya que tampoco contaban con calefacción y aire acondicionado. Salimos un día antes de lo planeado ya que al movernos de habitaciones las zonas estában demasiado frías y sin servicio de internet.
