Very quiet and friendly hotel close to the International Airport in Quito. Bathroom was very small. There was a restaurant but no service for dinner. A great place for one night's stay.

One thing I found misleading was the comments that the hotel included a shuttle to the airport which was not true. It should state hotel will arrange transportation to airport at customer cost and not listed misleading statements such shuttles to airport. Be honest hotel price is reasonable.

The room and property were not as presented on Expedia. Room was tiny, no air conditioning, in the middle of no where. It was clean enough but not what we expected. we left.

I have been to 23 countries and never before wrote a bad hotel review. BUT: 1) They “lost” my booking (but Expedia DIDNT) 2) they charged me DOUBLE at the front desk than agreed on. 3) the room was tiny, no amenities (I guess other than a bed). No mini fridge 4) bugs 5) loud noise in the hallway (constantly) 6) 5 fizzy AF channels 7) after 45 mins the power went out “for most of the night” All I asked was for a 10$ refund, after I left after 3 hours. They where awful Avoid 👏 at 👏 all 👏 costs Ps all of the pictures and positive reviews are hoaxed. Total scheme from top to bottom

This was my 4th stay at Hotel Las Mercedes, and the upstairs has been completely remodeled - excellent property, friendly staff, and the breakfast is wonderful! The perfect place to stay whether coming or going via Quito airport!

Ottimo per chi é di passaggio. Nuovo e pulito

Albergo pulito , titolare cordiale, mobili della camera nuovi, coperte e cuscini nuovi e puliti, bagnetto piccolino ma in ordine e pulito, mi hanno preparato la colazione con mezz'ora di anticipo perché avevo l'aereo presto. Vicinissimo all'aeroporto, con 7-8 dollari il taxi ti ci porta. Buona ricezione della Wi-Fi. Ideale per pernottamenti in vista di viaggi aerei. Quando arrivi stanco ed hai bisogno di riposarti per ripartire qui lo puoi fare in totale relax e silenzio. E soprattutto una grande attenzione per la pulizia, almeno questa è ciò che ho trovato io. Insomma, ci tornerei di sicuro se fossi di passaggio per Quito.

Simple & convenient (near UIO)

I booked this hotel near the airport as my flight was arriving late and I needed a day away from it all to relax before heading into the city. The rate seemed OK but turned out to be a bit overpriced for such a simple place BUT it was clean and had what I needed. I had some questions beforehand and reached out using the contact feature of Hotels.com's site and received a friendly reply from a staff member in English two days later which was very helpful. I used the airport transfer which was good - my flight was delayed so I was even later in arriving that night. This is a small hotel, maybe ~twelve rooms? Staff were good, a simple breakfast was included in the rate, and all my basic needs were satisfied. I wondered if I had booked earlier if the price would have been a little less - paid in US$ at the hotel.

Decent, cheap option near airport

Decent cheap choice for an overnight airport layover (10 min drive from airport). Quiet area except for airplane flight path (the price you pay for being near the airport). The room was clean and comfortable enough, but there was very poor sound insulation (could hear people coming and going and talking in the lobby at various times during the night and early morning). The staff member we met on arrival was welcoming and attentive, but spoke very little English and was not able to process a credit card for some reason so we had to pay for the room in cash. Not much to see/do/eat in the local area; a round trip into Quito is possible by taxi (30 min drive each way).

Was good, however was promised two waters which were not provided (I know it seems petty but when you don't have a chance to buy any form anywhere around a complimentary bottle of water goes a long way) the mattress was comfortable but quite small for a double and my husband and I had to sleep on our sides to both fit in the bed (we are not overly large people) we had an early flight so we missed out on the complimentary breakfast, I had read a review where another customer was in the same situation and they packed her a breakfast to go, when I asked about this we had no such luck. Still very clean and modern little place that served its purpose of not having to travel all the way into Quito for a nights sleep

Cozy home away from home

I stayed at the hotel Las Mercedes for 3days..first off its convenient to and from the airport very close a taxi will cost you about 8 bucks the owners are very nice people they will go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. Only downfall is hotel is pretty far from a lot of places..went to Mitad del Mundo that was about 30 minutes away in taxi..in Quito but overall had a wonderful stay and they do serve breakfast and yes hot water works and WiFi works great.

Perfect, if you need to be close to the airport

This is a great hotel, when you have a late flight in or an early flight out of Quito. It is literally no more than 10 minutes away from the airport. The location of this hotel, however, is not great if you want to see more of Quito, since that is another 45 minutes and $25 away. Worked out perfectly for me and the owner, Christian, is a great guy who will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. For the price, this is undoubtably a gem!
