"A truly jaw dropping hotel, built around Roman ruins, there is nothing like it. We were lucky enough to get a Heritage Suite which had double groin vaulted ceiling in Roman brick which was incredible. The pool outside is beautiful and the surrounding deck seating is great, the only thing that needed maintenance was the pool itself as the tiles were popping off the pool floor. The spa facilities were wonderful. Again the side of the indoor pool is foundations of Roman ruins and the amenities were incredibly calming and peaceful. If you have an opportunity to book a spa service I highly recommend it. We did a full body massage, a body scrub, and a facial and I’ll tell you I have never felt more relaxed. Overall a 9.8/10 truly amazing and very friendly staff!"

"We stayed at this hotel on our last night of our recent trip to Portugal. We had wanted to stay at a place close to the airport as we had to be there early for our flight home. We entered the inviting lobby to be greeted by friendly staff. We were easily assisted and checked in. The room we stayed in was a large well lit area. It had a balcony and patio, though we didn’t use it, was a nice surprise. The Bathroom was roomy, had lots of large soft bath sheets and had bath! This had been uncommon on our recent travels. This was a welcome appreciated relaxing option prior to a long travel home. I will say we chose a hotel chain we were familiar with as we had certain expectations usually included in previous stays. We were hopeful that if time permitted we would have breakfast in the morning of our departure. The breakfast was NOT included in the price of our stay though it was available in the area off of the sitting/gathering area. The price we had paid, we felt should have included the breakfast available in the hotel. The cost was high and with four travellers though it would have been very convenient, we opted to Not eat at the hotel before leaving for the airport the morning of our departure."
