Les installations sont désuètes, vieillots et les lits très durs. Pour le personnel, Randall a été fantastique. Il nous a aidé à booker le parc Manuel Antonio et nous avons eu de belles discussions avec lui. L’emplacement est exceptionnel.

Hotel in great location, near stores, restaurants and a few steps to the beach. Basic accommodations, very clean, outdoors needs a little TLC, including the outdoor furniture. No hair dryers or special amenities in the rooms. If you're a budget traveler this is great!

Our room felt like a dungeon with no natural light from the windows (facing inner corridors). During the night same windows were fully bright from the lights shining in those corridors- madness!! There was evidence of water damage on the walls, cold water only in showers and random mostly empty bottles of „soap” and „hair mask” for cosmetics, not even any soap to wash hands! Room had coffee machine but no coffee to go in it. Dishes in the room were dirty. Only saving grace for this hotel is access to the beach and nice pool and proximity to the park

Very standard/ basic room, but the beach front access was unbeatable. Pretty sure it’s one of the only hotels in the area with that access. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the pool was nice too! Highly recommend :) Gracias Hotel Verde Mar por su acomodación <3

Location of this hotel right on a fantastic beach is prime attraction for us. This was our second time choosing a 10 day stay at Hotel Verde to finish off our Costa Rica vacation. The friendly staff very helpful also to help out with travel and other arrangements.

The beach access sold it for us. We really enjoyed hanging out on the beach and then swimming in the pool in the evenings. My kids took surf lessons. Quick access to MA park. We saw monkeys on the property! Had a nice time!

The beach was a minute walk from our room. There are a few trees (with monkeys and birds in them) you walk by and then the beach. The hotel was so cute and all the staff were friendly and nice.

We loved our stay at Verde de mar. It’s directly on the beach and I seen more monkeys here than we did at the park. The hotel staff are all so friendly and helpful. Randall at the front desk helped us many times trying to figure out restaurants and directions. Ronny and the Cook ( sorry I forgot his name )at the little restaurant in the hotelwas so kind and we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast there every day. My favourite part was playing with the cat Samy .

Staff was helpful and friendly, we liked the hotel cat and the proximity to the beach. The price point was excellent. It was appreciated that we could get beach/pool towels and that we could use a shower area during an unusual time between checkout and our departure. Off street parking was safe and plentiful.

Firstly, don’t take the upgrade. I don’t know what the rooms look like, but the “loft” upgrade was a letdown. For the price, it was meh. The loft of on th lobby, loud, zero view of anything, awkward layout, a let down. Live and learn

Absolutely perfect hotel! The wildlife, staff and accommodations were fantastic. Many different tourists, from around the world, and even the guests were kind and friendly. It is not a fancy hotel but we ate at expensive (“exclusive “) hotel restaurants at times and Hotel Verde Mar was a WAY better of experience overall. Just fabulous!

Clean room. Bring a key for the lock box. Room itself is okay but location was great! Great location, right on a beautiful beach, can walk to Manuel Antonio park and restaurants. The pool and grounds were nice and well maintained. You will need to rent a chair/umbrella on the beach from locals, about $20/ day for 2 chairs and an umbrella if you choose this option, though I think you can negotiate this price. We had daily visits from monkeys.
