The rooms were pretty clean, kitchenette, kind of noisy, staff was kind, pool was nice, it was right on the beach which was great! AC worked well, but no TV. I was napping one day and heard someone trying to get into my room, good thing for the double locks. Housekeeping tiddies your room everyday but it wasn’t them.

This property is walkable distance to the entry to the big national park. It’s not their fault, and at night, at four in the morning, there were howler monkeys, making little growling sounds. We had the loft apartment which is above the reception area with a spiral staircase, its own kitchenette, a fair amount of room. Felt safe, had beach access.

La ubicación es prime, sin embargo las facilidades, mantenimiento, la ropa de cama, y cortinas son viejas, falta de un buen mantenimiento y/o renovación. Definitivamente no me vuelvo a quedar aquí pero solo para que el visitante sepa, es como un motel con nombre de Hotel. Not good

We loved it

We loved it! Walking distance to the beach. Food from the restaurant delicious and cheap, family friendly really fair price. The only down side are the towels they need to be replace becuase they are old. And will be good if they are two diffrent color from the room and swimming pool.

Very friendly and helpful front desk. The hotel is conveniently located to Manuel Antonio park entrance. We didn't have time to try the pool or the adjacent beach. I would recommend the hotel.

Location , location ! Older hotel with beach access! Overall I liked it. Our room was a little funky a loft over the lobby . Not sure how I chose that room; it was spacious and had a kitchen, but virtually no windows, next time I’d choose a regular room. I could have changed but it seemed like too much work. The pool was nice, we enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant associated with the hotel. I’d stay there again for sure.

We were very dissatisfied with this property. Last year we stayed here and had a completely different experience. This time the room had a really bad smell that we quickly identified as the wood from the beds eaten by termites. There were actual termites on the beds. We requested the bedding to be changed as there was blood in one of the pillow cases and dirt stains on the bedding. The staff said they were full and had no more linen so it was only partially changed (it’s low season). The bathroom expelled a sewer smell that was disgusting. To top it off the ac in the room did not work. We turned it on and went out for dinner hoping we will find the room cool and to our surprise it was hot, humid and stinky. No staff available to help at night. We had our kids take a nap, closed the bathroom door and by 4am we packed and left. It was a horrible experience. At that point I just wanted to drive away from Manuel Antonio and didn’t get to enjoy anything in the area or National Park due to this negative experience at the hotel. Make sure this has been addressed before you book this hotel. Manuel Antonio beach is one of my favorite places in the world and this time I had to skip it due to making a poor choice in the hotel unfortunately.
