"Toilet had number 2 in when we got there flys in the room Basically very old rooms "

"The kitchen was mal-equipped, with no stove or oven, & little work space. The laundry service was inconvenient, with very limited hours. The shower flooded the bathroom immediately upon turning on the faucet, drenching everything (hanging clothes, etc.); it was nearly uncontrollable, until turned to a trickle. There was 3-inches of water on the floor after the first minute of turning it on."

"We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. "

"I think it needs a bit of TLC, but the staff were lovely and very helpful. Also I think the dinner menu needs improving, as there wasn’t a lot of choice. But overall it is in a beautiful location and would definitely return "

"Our room was large, spotlessly clean and very well prepared including the kitchenette. It was perfect for us. "

"The gentleman running Sequoia is quite nice. The room was comfortable (we had a private ensuite, note that hand soap is not provided). The kitchen is well equipped with lots of seating. We weren’t able to sit outside to eat our breakfast as there were a number of chain smokers sitting at the outside kitchen table. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again"
